The Terrence Wright Beacon Basketball League is a memoriam for a close friend who passed away our freshmen year of High School. He was having heart problems and was sent home prematurely from the hospital, where he later transitioned from this world. Now in our 6th year, we are selling retail to help make the league a non for profit. • • • Lots of us want to do more for others, even when we don't have a lot for ourselves. Throughout my adventures in Beacon, I've come across some neighbors and friends in need, those people who will ask, and those who would never mention it. I believe there's more we can do, anonymously for such people. • • • 50% of the proceeds from our retail "Please Do Not Fight" Athletic Shirts will go to helping those who need assistance, anonymously. From groceries, to a shirt or blouse for a job interview, to helping with the MTA tax at the DMV, to personal bills that will keep the internet on for your kids who have homework assignments due. • • • We are selling Youth, Ladies, and Men's tees. $25 - Youth $30 - Adult $75 - For any 3 shirts $120 - For any 5 shirts • • • If interested we will be selling them at the League games (Corner of Wolcott and South Ave) or we can arrange an appointment to meet.
