Terressentials & Shea Butter
I took the plunge to do my hair with organic products. I've won. I'm still detoxying my hair, but Terressentials is THEE HAIR WASH! I tried shea butter for the first time too. Thanks Terressentials and shea butter, my twists are on point. I even filmed it for YouTube: ColorMeHuman2. Lol I'd be surprised to get a view cause everything is already on YouTube. I did it to say I did it :)
The point of this here post is to recommend Terressentials, from a 4c head.
Quick Tips!
Let Terressentials soak on Hair ----> Hair = Butter
Detangle, Apply and Distribute Shea Whip ----> Hair = Air
Lips on fire? Lip balm no where to be found? Just apply castor oil or shea butter to your lips in the meantime! They're packed with anti-inflammatory properties!

Using Terressentials Hair Wash: A Horror Story
Earlier this week, I washed my hair with the Terressentials Hair Wash in Lavender that I had purchased about a year ago! I've had nothing but good results from using that stuff before. You can watch my Terressentials Wash Day Video here.
Anyways, after I was done washing my hair, I noticed that my hair was reallllly goopy. My hair felt coated, stiff and was even a dusty brown color after it dried -_-.
So the next day I took the coated, brown twists down and re-washed my hair.
Washing my hair again with a diluted version of the Mud Wash barely helped. My hair was still stiff, tinted and gross looking.
So on the third day, (it's been a rough week) I completely ditched the idea of using Terressentials to clean itself off my hair.
First I tried cowashing with my Aubrey Organics Conditioner............FAIL
Next I tried an ACV rinse......................................................................FAIL
The last thing I tried was a product I stopped using all together because I had been worrying the ingredients. It was a moisturizing shampoo from Creme of Nature's line. I applied a little bit to the front section of my goopy hair just to test it instead of wasting anymore product.
That stuff was a true miracle worker! After sudsing up the front and rinsing afters, I was left with my jet black wavy kinky hair! In fact, the apparent contrast between the front and the rest of my hair just made the coated hair look soo much "dustier".
Morals of this story: Don't use an old bottle of Terressentials but if you do, shampoo will be there to save the day. How Ironic.

guess what i tried??... yeah i caved and tried Terressentials... i considered buying bentonite clay and mixing it myself... but i remembered... i dont have time for that!!... so i just spent money and bought it... *sigh*
i loooooove the way this smells... its like minute maid lemonade... the application was SUUUUPER easy... i detangled... put a little on each section and pinned it up... then rinsed it out in the shower... the whole time my hair stayed detangled... and defined... unlike any other wash process ive ever had... so thats a plus... i actually LIKE not having a suds... i find that my hair gets lost within suds... and makes the whole process cumbersome... i already have enough hair... i dont need additional things adding to the things i have to rake through to get to my hair... it rinsed out clean... well... (as clean as i usually get things... i have a hard time reaching my scalp... but thats with everything)...
i could see all the gunk leaving my hair... it was pretty gross... but i know it was effective... i absolutely loved it... the process... im not sure if i like the price though... so i will continue to use it... and see if i can convince myself that its definitely worth buying versus just buying bentonite clay... but terressentials smells soooo good =(
