When I say goodbye to a terrible class
i hardly ever went to my queer literature class (it said lgbt literature in the course catalogue, seriously. i couldn't drop bc i waited too long to sign up for classes and everything i wanted was full) but i'm pretty sure there was some pedophilia apologia going on in reading octavia butler's fledgling
Attempting The BA Exam
My First Day at "Work Study" in the Hospital:
Nurse: So, you want to be an RN later in life?
Me: No, my teacher made me interview here. I want to be a tattoo artist.
Nurse: Yeah, you're in the wrong place. Go sit over there.
This year failed to teach me anything
I took French for 6 years. The curriculum at my old school stressed communication, not rote memorization without application. The course this year is the biggest waste of time I've ever had. I'm staring at my french book, thinking "POURQUUUUUOOOIIIII ??".
So it's final.
Never taking another Dandan class.
I just lost brain cells sitting in that last class listening to the lecture...
How is that possible?
