In an attempt to comfort my Muslim friend, i said "this terrorist is probably going straight to the most painful level of hell, and the victims will go to the highest level of heaven."

She replied with "We shouldn't say that, if he sincerely asks for forgiveness before he dies then he will be forgiven, forgiveness before anything"

What am i even supposed to say to that? To think people hate Muslims when most be thinking like this. Yall are quick to hate and grade all Muslims the same when one (so called muslim) says or does something immoral, why dont u do the same everytime one does something like this? I dont see people loving all actors if one contributes thousands to a charity. I haven't come across muslims hating all white people because of this racist terrorist incident. Why should other innocent muslims be treated badly?

I feel sick and disturbed about what happened in New Zealand. It's really devastating. And I can't help but cry. People were keeping to themselves, not hurting anyone, praying the Friday prayer and feeling save in this worship place. Seeking God, seeking forgiveness, seeking happiness and praying for themselves and for their families. And for that they were murdered in cold blood. At least 49 people died today. People lost their loved ones. Families are devastated, they lost their husbands, their brothers, their sons. Just when they thought they were save. Only because of some white racist extremists. I can't believe someone would actually do that and be so proud of it that they were live streaming it. And now a lot of families are faced everywhere with the sight of their loved ones dying. My heart is so broken over this, and I feel sick of the thought of what people can do in the name of hate. This is a tragedy, a hate crime. My prayers are with all the families and people out there. Stay save.

Spread love to your Muslim friends. Reach out to them and be there for each other. And stop the Islamophobia. Stop the racism. We are not your enemies for the love of God! we're just people trying to live our lives. We're not different than anyone of you. And I'm just tired of the things I see on the news and media about us. Stop confusing the extremists with the religion. We are not terrorists. We're just people. We're your friends, your colleagues and your neighbors. And we just want to live in peace.
