This is...my most hated...and most feared weapon portrayed by an army, ever! Coupled with the new 6th edition Overwatch rule, they're just flat out ridiculous. So to those who have no idea of which I speak; Now in 40K, when you're charged your entire squad is allowed to shoot at the charging enemy. However, these shots can only be made as 'Snap Shots' meaning they only hit on a 6. BUT. The Necron Tesla weapon found on bloody Immortal Troop choices take the piss out of this. On a 'To Hit' roll of a 6, the Tesla weapon immediately grants TWO EXTRA HITS to be added to the hit count. Imagine a unit of 12 of these bastards firing at your charging unit. Even if only three models score a 6 in overwatch, that's still NINE SODDING ROLLS TO WOUND. My hate stems from my friends ridiculously lucky roll of nine dice, eight of which were 6's. 24 'To Wound' rolls from nine models.... Suffice to say, my charge was halted there and then. Lucky, as my Grey Knight Brother-Captain was about to make a puddle of slag out of that Necron Overlord whore.....
