1.who told you that  i was former homestuck? im homestuck 24 fucking 7 baby. i love homestuck so intensely that i once tried for a solid month to not make a single homestuck reference even once and i failed every single day.

Hey, I recently got someone asking me If I take request on my art blog and I'm not sure if I want to or not. I'm not anywhere near popular on my art blog and think it would help me get more followers, but I heard it's not a good idea to take art request (unless that's what your blog is about) since people can get pushy about it. I'm not sure what to do and was wondering if I please could get some advice, Im pretty new to this

don’t stress too much about it! if you want to do requests, be open to requests, but just don’t do the ones you don’t want to do. it’s understandable, especially if people are being entitled about it. use your best judgement and decide what you want to do!

i would say my top advice ab gaining more followers for your art is to just be consistant and constant....make a lot of what you want to make and people will follow into your niiches. also if you draw what you want and what youre passionate about and that passion will translate! you can tell when there’s no heart in the things ppl draw for notes, and i know its hard to put in to practice but dont let your frustration about it make you force it. its not worth it imo
