having been given the opportunity to ask about adrian,,, 10 & 19???
10. What deadly sin would best represent your OC?
ooooo this is an interesting one.... i think i'd pick pride. mostly because adrian tends to be very certain in himself and his own analysis and understanding of situations, and he doesn't deal too well with being wrong. he's also very aware that he had to work really fucking hard to get where he is and he's not shying away from that, so i would say he can be proud to a bit of a fault sometimes.
19. What kind of music do they listen to? Do they have a favorite song?
THE QUESTION OF ALL TIMEEEE okay i am in the process of Constructing the adrian playlist, there is also a second seth/adrian playlist in the works, i will eventually share them both promise.
adrian listens to a mix of things, but his music taste is definitely influenced by his parents and what they listened to with him when he was young. (i talked about adrians parents in this post). adrian was eight when his first sister was born, so he had about seven and a bit years of learning how his family worked as a group of three, and while he loves his sisters more than anything in the world i think there's always a part of him that will wonder if their family could've been okay if they'd stayed small. adrian has some really clear memories of sitting in the back of the family car while his parents bickered over the radio, and he remembers listening to the two of them sing together to their favorite cds. adrians first christmas gift to his mom was when he was six, and his dad let him in on the 'secret' of what record he'd gotten for her, and let adrian sign the card and everything. the album was New Jersey by Bon Jovi, one of adrian's mom's favourite bands, and he and his parents loved all the classic rock and roll bands, so that's a lot of what adrian grew up listening to. one of the first songs he tried to learn on drums was Born To Be My Baby from that album, when he was 11.
classic rock stuff like Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, that's all stuff he found through his parents. as he grew up, he branched out a little, to some more modern stuff around 90s-00s like Soundgarden/Chris Cornell, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, eventually some Fall Out Boy when they show up etc.
bit of a curveball but his favourite album to study to is Urban Hymns by The Verve. it's one he found on his own, pulled the CD out of a bargain bin about a month after winning custody of his sisters and the experience of listening to that album start to finish is somewhat therapeutic.
he'll listen to almost anything with good drums tbh, but he likes what he likes and doesn't branch out too much. he's a casual listener of a variety of bands instead of a diehard fan of anyone, but if he had to pick a favourite song it'd probably be Tom Sawyer by Rush, it's definitely his favourite to play on drums
seth will get him into linkin park and nine inch nails and more dont worry
(ps for me: if they'd been around when he was 19 he'd absolutely be into sleep token 100% for the drums)
