Sure, she didn’t have a lot of money but Tessa made a pledge that she would rather go without food so Meryl could eat. She knew what being a runaway was like and she couldn’t walk away and leave her to face the elements on her own. It was official - Meryl was joining the Sinclair household! 🥰

After they were done at the gym, the all-official besties decided to hit up the ‘humour and hijinks’ festival together and see what it was all about. After deciding to join the Jokesters together, they got stuck right in with the competition!

Tessa: Okay, okay. What about this one? *impossible sausage mime* (repeated 38574785 times) Duane: It’s a start, but I think we’re going to need a few more jokes Tess!

The beginning of spring also meant that the cowplant berry that Tessa planted way back in fall finally... uh blossomed? Tessa had absolutely no idea what she was doing but they had a lot of fun together!

Tessa: C’mon Mooana. You’ve gotta be hungry by now. You can’t just eat me again like last time! Mooana: bleeeeeegh!!!

(honestly she’s been eaten by her own cowplant twice already 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m gonna have to fence it off so she doesn’t die lmao)

The seriousness of chess didn’t last very long at all. Tessa noticed that their chess table was placed next to a party bush so with a cheeky wink and a waggle of her eyebrows, a bush woohoo was just around the corner. (I just want one day where they don’t autonomously woohoo.. just one.. please?)

Tessa: Ladies first! 😉 Yuki: Get your butt in there before I change my mind 🤪

Yuki ended up staying for a couple of days, much to Tessa’s delight. She was many things but a chef however, she was not. Thankfully Tessa’s fridge was stocked with plenty of leftovers and PBJs to keep them going!

Yuki: I was thinking we could half and half these and then go out and pick some fruit to go with dessert? Tessa: sounds good to me!

[I didn’t know my game was glitching until this happened jdjshdjshjsd. Yuki just carried the PBJ in her left hand for hours and hours and I had no idea]

By the time the day was drawing to a close, both girls felt so much better. They had such a great time hanging out, laughing together, eating good food, seeing the beautiful sights of Mt. Komorebi and taking a whole day to practice self care. 

Tessa: honestly she fell in the same mud patch over and over again! Carolina: *laughing* No way! I can’t believe you got pics! That’s what she gets for hating children I suppose 🤣

Finally (and most importantly), Tessa replaced all of her ‘used’ counters with new ones, got cabinets to match, splashed out on a new cooker and bought a fridge that wasn’t covered in rust and other people’s old stickers. She finally had a kitchen she could be proud of!
