Picture perfect
To put it this way, they were everything I’d ever wanted to be. They reminded me of the kids in school I would always come second best to. It was funny to be sitting across the table from them; it seemed like I should be sitting in the audience watching them play the piano or give a speech or something. You know, they were such a perfectionist. They held themself accountable for every little thing. I felt a little sorry for them, to be perfectly honest. I didn’t say that, though.
