If you have a chance to sleep in the Presidential suite at the @hotelquintadolago, I highly recommend it. With your own private wrap around terrace and private pool, you can spend all day there. The Magnolia Hotel in Quinta do Lago attracts plenty of fitness enthusiasts, and it's easy to see why. A great base for boot camps, the basement, airconditioned gym is a perfect starting point, before heading for a bike ride along the dunes or opting for the on-site tennis courts. Me? Essential lunch destination Gigi in @qdlresort is the oldest restaurant on the estate - and still the best. Gigi and Loredana, who have been serving their guests for 33 years, buy the freshest Portuguese fish in the market just a few kilometres away every morning and cook it in the simplest ways every lunchtime.
