1st Draft of the Forrest Fire Clip

I wanted try and use blender to simulate some fire and then add it to the video footage in After Effects and see how it would look. 

I was only able to simulate 2 different types of fire simulations. 

It looks acceptable but I want to try and use some stock footage if I can find some.

testing the forest fire scene

my idea is to have origami trees stood on the ground and recording the real life footage and then add fire effects and smoke using After Effects.

but I tried to find stock footage for fire that I can use for my scene but I haven’t found any free sources for the type of fire I was looking for. Then I decided to use Blender’s fire simulations to make the fire effects that I want. 

so that’s what I did and it worked out well in my test renders

can’t find any fire stock images that are free and suitable for the work that I’m doing. Therefore I’ll simulate fire in blender and use that for my “Forrest Fire” Scene.
