Hello my beautiful humans/whatever you identify as, Namea here. I don’t wanna get preachy or anything but uh..can we please agree to start testing cc on dark skins before we release it? I know EA stuff sometimes looks bad on them too but c’mon, these creators can all do better, I’ve seen it. I don’t think it’s done with malice but at a certain point it feels like people just assume no one plays dark skinned characters. If your CC isn’t tested and working on all skintones then it’s something that needs to be addressed in the description. Some of these items were even shown in previews on a dark skinned model as well as a light one and looked good, they were heavily photoshopped to cover this mess and that means the creators absolutely knew that they weren’t working for dark skins.
I get that the sims is just a game. I’m not trying to go full sjw on ya but the little shit like this adds up fast and it all contributes to the daily anguish of POC. Your oversight in creation of sims content is someone else’s reminder that they aren’t considered equal. Not cool.
Just...when ya make something and pop in game to test it, maybe throw it on the dark skinned models with default EA skin just to make sure it doesn’t look like absolute fucking garbage.
And if you see that it does and release it anyway with a heavily edited preview pic to cover it up? Then YOU are absolute fucking garbage.
