Good morning 🌞 How are you today? #haveagoodday I share works of late contemporary artist #TetsuyaIshida as a #morningthoughts #morninginspiration. Though paintings were made on the border of 90s-2000s and were about “lost decade” generation in Japan, I think it’s impossible to ignore the similarity of the mental and spiritual disillusionment that is in the air right now. An extreme need to fit in and inability to suppress personality to be like everyone else. Now it’s about cancel culture, new morality that looks like distortion of the old. Productivity, consumerism vs sense of life and nature itself.
