They were going to be in the city for a few days before making their way back to Haven, might as well have some fun.The party had disbanded to have some personal time, leaving Alucard with the mage, who when off duty was his lover. At the other’s response to his personal preference to clothing he chuckled.

“Yes I know, I’m a bit muscular for a corset but I really like how pretty feminine clothing is. My favorite article of clothing back home was a black tailcoat that had ruffle sleeves and form fitting to my waist with a lace up back, but then it had a long sheer skirt-like train. I loved how it flowed when I twirled and danced.”

Alucard had enjoyed feminine clothes since a child. His mother was so happy she could dress him up all pretty. Vlad however didn’t exactly like his son being overly feminine but never tried to stop Alucard’s fun. Though that might have been why the vampire had him focus hard on sword fighting and hand to hand combat to become a warrior, until his magic shined through.

He looked down when Dorian took his hand and smiled, gently giving squeezing the mage’s hand. With a nod Alucard began to stroll down the street with Dorian hand in hand.

“I think there’s a few that have tailors in their shops that could do adjustments to fit me. If not at the very least I can get you something nice to wear.”

“Can’t you call one of your god friends to banish this storm? Like that Thor fellow. At the very least, we could stare at his muscles.”

It had been over a year since the Inquisitor had successfully closed the rift and rid of his mark. Since then he had turned his attention home and the continued aid to mages in their fight for freedom. But his lover Dorian had his own fight back home to deal with. Parting with the mage was the hardest thing he had to do, more than any battle and life threatening situation, letting Dorian go made his heart ache.

But goodbye didn’t mean forever. Letters and small gifts where sent to one another by an ebony messenger owl and there where the crystals that they could speak to one another directly. Used when they longed to hear one another’s voice and moans. It was always weeks between contact as both were so incredibly busy. Alucard had feared that Dorian might move on, that keeping a long distant relationship was too much trouble and would stop contact. Just when he thought that might be the case his crystal would alert him or he’d receive a letter.

The dhampir currently clutched the last letter he had gotten from Dorian two months ago as he stood at the bow of a ship he had bought passage on to Tevinter. He had taken Dorian’s warning in consideration, but he had not been able to get any contact since this last letter and he had grown stronger still since the last they saw of one another. Alucard was prepared for any dangers, he knew in his heart that this was where he needed to be.

The dhampir’s face was completely red and he couldn’t even look at Dorian directly as he was trying his very best not to look down. The mage was a shameless flirt and it felt like it was his personal mission to make the inquisitor flustered as much as possible. It never took much at all to do so but this was the most over-the-top thing done so far.

“A special performance piece? Are you going to perform some sort of seduction ritual? Dorian, please...”

Alucard felt so embarrassed and shy, hiding his blushing face in his hands. The young man didn’t know how to handle someone being so forward with him in a sexual manner. That wasn’t to say he wasn’t interested. He was very much attracted to Dorian and even flirted back a little when he felt confident enough. But this particular outfit that revealed nearly everything was overwhelming for the innocent dhampir.

@tevinteredeemer Inquisitor!Alucard 

The Inquisitor did not look forward to returning to Haven after the ordeal at Redcliff. He defeated Alexius with the help of a mage, Dorian, and chose to bring the rebel mages with him as the Inquisition’s Allys. Cassandra disapproved of this and arriving back at Haven had to deal with Cullen’s great disapproval. Though the pair never saw eye to eye, since the very beginning, as Alucard was both a magic user and half vampire he knew the only thing that was keeping him alive was the mark and Cassandra’s faith in him.

After dealing with Cullen, Alucard went and found that the tevinter mage was still hanging around. The arcane warrior couldn’t help but smile as he approached, Dorian seemed like an interesting man that he would definitely like to keep around.

“Thank you for having my back at Redcliff. It would be nice having another mage around... Many are not pleased with my decision with the rebel mages, but my mother is a spirit healer and my parents have always helped mages in need. I’m more willing to trust a stranger who uses magic then templars who have hunted my family all my life.”

“I can’t imagine what that is like, to love someone and they only hurt you...”

Alucard said softly as he wrapped his arms around the shorter mage. Personally he was glad the awful father was dead and gone, his only regret that he wasn’t the one to take that man’s wretched life. But as much as Alucard hated the man for what he had done to his lover, he was still Dorian’s father.

“Maybe he meant it, or maybe it was his last attempt into guilt-tripping you into taking his place? The man had controlled and manipulated you for your entire life, he tried to pre-plan your entire life to get his way. He doesn’t deserve your mourning.”

He stated while he petted at Dorian’s hair comfortingly. A smile touching his lips at the thanks.

“I’m here for both mortal support and be your bodyguard-slash-trophy boyfriend. The best combo of handsome and deadly~ Speaking of deadly...”

Alucard draws his enchanted sword and it zips through the air and out the window, a dying scream rings out and a body collapses from the roof and falls to the ground outside. The sword returning to Alucard’s hand with blood coating the blade. 

“Wonder how many assassins we have to kill before they realize we’re untouchable? Maybe I could take a page out of father’s book and put their bodies on pikes and place them outside the houses of the magisters that keep hiring these assassins. That way your poor servants don’t have to worry about having to dispose of all these bodies and I get to send a message.”

Alucard blushed at the comment but that didn’t stop him from showering the mage with affection. Combing his fingers through the facial hair and nuzzling his cheek against Dorian’s to feel what it was like against his skin. Completely fascinated by the texture and sensation.

“Oooh, now I must get you a pirate outfit for the bedroom. Just finding all sorts of ways to turn me on. You’re truly awful.”

He stated with love and a giggle as he stole a kiss from his lover’s lips.

“I prefer you all clean shaven but I like this rugged look as well, it feels nice...”

“Technically yes, Vampires are a species of darkspawn and father was turned by the blood of an Archdemon. That’s why he took upon the title Dracula, son of the dragon which is what an Archdemon is. That also means he has the power to summon darkspawn at will and create his own Blight if he wanted.”

Alucard explained in depth to the mage. He wanted to be fully honest with Dorian about his lineage. Even though no one knew about this information their fear of him was with good reason. He was expecting Dorian to have a new awakened fear of him, but instead was concerned.

“I’m alright. The last Blight over a decade ago didn’t seem to effect me as far as I can remember, father didn’t take part. Just made sure the darkspawn didn’t come after mother and I... Guess you understand now why Blackwall is the president of the Kill Alucard club, I carry the blood of his mortal enemy.”

The dhampir wasn’t sure if he had abilities like his father, that he could summon a darkspawn to do his bidding. He didn’t want that power but it would be useful in a dire situation. Golden eyes looked to Dorian, a little worried that the mage would think of him as an evil creature now.

“Do you think ill of me now...?”
