Pascale Paoli-Lebailly | 19-09-2013 RTL Newmedia, a division of RTL Belgium, is launching a new feature on its Club RTL second-screen app, designed specifically for UEFA Champions League and Europa League viewers. The Club RTL app is developed for iOS and Android in conjunction with Belgian start-up Tevizz and solutions providers EVS, and will be available for the entire 2013-2014 season, covering both leagues. It brings together the very best image and social media functions in a single application. As soon as the match starts, viewers will be able to watch match highlights on their tablet or smartphone, and read comments about each clip from social media. Users will also automatically receive real-time commentaries from celebrities, football professionals, popular bloggers and fans. They will be able to share messages with their Facebook friends and Twitter followers, as well as engage in debates and share their favourite moments on RTL's Facebook and Twitter pages and on RTL Sports live chat.
