Percina carbonaria, Texas logperch

Texas Logperch (Percina carbonaria)
...a species of logperch (fish related to darters) that is endemic to the Brazos, Colorado, Guadalupe and San Antonio River drainages in Texas. Like other logperches (and darters) they tend to inhabit rocky riffles and runs in the bottom of small to medium rivers. Texas logperches feed mainly on small aquatic insects which they find by flipping over rocks with their snouts.
