National Photography Month and another favorite photo from the last 25 years.
Day 3 - A farmer irrigating during a farm and ranch photo shoot in Dell City, Texas on August 31, 2011. A long-time client needed photos of one of their Texas farms and flew me down to photograph the operation. It included at least 30 circle pivots, mostly all alfalfa hay, a large vineyard, and several thousand acres of crops on ditch irrigation. The sun just came up and gave me a great reflection on the irrigation water, the colors make it stand out from many of my other farm photos. I grew up on a farm and ranch, so being able to photograph a large operation in Texas was very interesting and a lot of fun. Much of my personal photography work and stock photography work includes ranch and farm life, so this photo shoot is on the list for favorite photo shoots as well.
