I thought you had to water black roses w a gold watering can to get gold roses

i found out the other day apparently once u water a black rose w a gold can it gets like a marker on it that it keeps until it makes a gold rose...so once u watered it once w the gold can u don't have 2 again until it makes the gold rose and loses that marker

in new horizons u have 2 break 100 axes (flimsy or regular) to get the gold axe recipe but honestly the best thing u'll get out of it is the Chaotic title once u inevitably hit the "break 200 tools" milestone
