Didn't finish Wednesday. It was so banal that I ended up googling what happens for the last two episodes.

Leisure time perked up by watching season 3 of Umbrella Academy. Solid c+ show but I love each and every character so much my nonsense tolerance goes way up. Plus it has style.

Might have peaked my viewing experience with Glass Onion though. Fucking incredible again, adored it, do recommend. I have so many things I want to squeal about it but gonna sit and wait until the moratorium on spoilers has passed.

There's a lot of dead shit in the desert Or maybe there's a lot of dead shit everywhere but in the desert it doesn't turn to mulch. Everything just dries out and is preserved for eternity, making it a pretty comfortable place to be if your dead. Still. Never saw so much death as I did growing up in the desert. Desert is a good place to just lay down and be still for a good long while. I moved to a rainforest for college. Now there's a place to go to fuck shit up. Want to rip apart the world and have it remade in three days? Forests are where it's at. You'll never recognize yourself after spending some time in a forest. But the desert, man. Nothing better than a desert for the dead.

ok imma just vent for a bit

I’m developig a headache because a fairly new friend of mine says the patriarchy doesn’t exist and that he should know because he loves to discuss stuff like this and he’s discussed with all sorts of people for years apparently while I’m there like hello I’ve mostly just been reading and gathering information and working to become a better person but since I’m too shy and insecure to discuss with strangers on the internet I feel like nothing I say is considered valid and like oh I’ve just been living and experiencing tha patriarchy as a woman and it’s just so much that he does not see, there are so many things big and small it’s literally everywhere and I’ve battled with internalized misogynism and he’s just dismissing all of it and gosh it’s exhausting. I might ask one of my sisters who is better than me at making people realize they’re wrong for help. I mean the conversation might have gone a bit better had I not already had several glasses of wine (this was at a party and like this didn’t ruin the entire night, overall I had a good time).
