So it just dawned on me that the Ardea's ritual is just like... Elemental Shroud.

Well, first death for Ardea... against a Wasp Queen in Fields of Ruin.

As usual I take something out of it lore-wise for my OCs. This time, girl's just allergic to wasps and found out the hard way.

Just gotta decide at what age it happened lol. Thinking it was during one of their first training exercises outside of the fahrar's walls, when the cubs kicked the proverbial wasp nest and pretty much everyone got stung. Everyone was ouchy and swollen but overall fine, while she got itchy all over and struggled to breathe so bad that Aurelia and Sidonia had to carry her to their teachers, with the rest of the cubs running ahead to warn them. Not the worst allergic reaction, but still had her on rest for days.

After that, girl was out there burning to a crisp any and all insects perceivable as wasps before they were even close enough to identify.
