Imagine your idol boyfriend(s) who’s on tour and stopping by various countries you’ve yet to step foot on and update you before they start their last practice session for the concert while you’re still in bed wrapped up in your blanket as the rain pour lightly outside and it’s super early so you’re not entirely up yet the sound of your phone got you scrolling to the short but meaningful messages from them. “we’re still practising” and attached a photo or two.

“you better eat your meals today and send proof or it didn't happen” “don’t miss me too much, I’ll be back before you know it.” a string of heart emojis after before it stopped there and you know they won’t be able to see your replies and respond that fast but you do it anyway.

The ritual is the same after the concert is finished. The messages are shorter due to exhaustion and you keep telling them to go and rest but they’re like let me talk to you :( and so you text back and forth, the time difference was an obstacle but it never stopped you from updating each other.

Oh I forgot to add! They kept some photos off social media to exclusively give them to you and only you and you had to ask (we tend to miss things when we’re busy) “oh i didn’t see this on the official account? or “did i miss an update?” but he goes “no i kept this photo for you” and it’s a selca of him starting the day or heading to bed. Maybe a photo of a street view or a meal he ate that evening. and he never forgets to remind you. “wait for me, i’ll make sure to shower you with my love”

Company dinners were never your thing. You never looked forward to any of them and now you were in the bathroom, trying to figure out how to leave the restaurant. For once, they decided on a decent place which you were fairly okay about. Besides, what can a mere employee like you do aside from agreeing with whatever your superior suggests and finalises.

You washed your hands, dried them and took a good look at yourself in the mirror. I look pretty decent today but he’s not here. You thought to yourself before fixing your attire for the last time and were set to sneak out from there or maybe come up with an excuse to your team members and rush away but a buzzing sound from your phone stopped you in your tracks.

It was a text message from Mingyu. He doesn’t text you personally unless it’s for work or a rumour he heard and needed your confirmation. But this was neither of those. 

-Look who is here. 

“No way!” Cupping your mouth immediately and glancing around before looking back at the photo he sent along with the message. It was Wonwoo and your team leader, Kwon Soonyoung and Manager Yoon who’s barely at the office but knows everything (thanks to Mingyu).

Mingyu and his timing makes you have second thoughts on ditching the dinner. Another text came in. You were glaring at it so hard but a smile was slowly forming on your face as you heaved a sigh and walked out ready to entertain and be entertained by your co-workers. 

-Wonwoo’s looking for you. Hurry or I tell him about your not so secret crush on him.

imagine the others getting jealous and side eyeing you because your whole attention is on the captain and him alone when it's literally a group date. so they start planning on how to get your to notice them but nothing really works because the blue haired guy does nothing but exist and you're all heart eyes on him. so the only solution they came up with was to leave you with hongjoong and find the nearest drugstores to get their hands on some hair dyes and diy it themselves so that you realise that you actually have eight boyfriends and not one.

minghao and wonwoo: are the co workers you have a crush on and is half intimidated half in awe whenever you see or get the chance to talk to them. it's not bad having more than one crush but it's bad if they start noticing. "i think y/n has a thing for you, wonwoo." "no, i saw them staring at you one time during meeting, definitely has a crush on you, hao." 😌

mingyu: would bicker with you about the most pettiest things like "you said you don't like green but what is this green post it you have? 🤨" or simply just wants to annoy you but also lends a hand when you need it

dokyeom: best boy, ray of sunshine, nothing to complain except that he screams your name from far before coming over your desk to whisper "ready to go lunch?" also his laugh and voice is easy to distinguish so you know if he's near or not

saw the neo group photo and zoomed in to the centre and there sits my bias line plus wrecker and thoughts on how they would gush over their s/o after the concert is circling in my head right now.

if you're still awake, jaemin will coo at you and asked if you had dinner and scold you saying it's late and that you should be sleeping but you're like i'm not sleepy yet and i want to see you guys before going to bed.

then jungwoo would throw himself at you, whining how he's tired and he just wants to hug you to sleep and make sure you stay in his arms till tomorrow afternoon. jaehyun smiled at the scene as he greeted you with a pat on the head and tease how you look sleepy but actually wants to say that you look cute and went off to get ready for bed with a satisfied smile on his face when he managed to make you pout and glare at him

then came in doyoung, tired and groaning somehow still have the energy to complain about something but sighs the moment he sees you...the eye smile morphed into slits to jungwoo who has you in a bear hug and jaemin pinching and squishing your cheeks to no ends...

if they found you already asleep, doyoung will make sure everyone freshen up before even getting near the bed and to not make so much noise. bed could fit most three people at once and the only thought in their head was to cuddle you for a good night sleep so they somehow make it work and fit all of you together and call it a night
