Well, four months after the hard fall I took at Boskone where I sprained/fractured my hand, I can knit again.
So it’s time to cast on the Nightmare Galleon scarf.

Finished the first RotG BlackIce scarf as of 20 March 2018. I've used three skeins on this one, and have three more on hand. I just have to cast off and add fringe. Without fringe, it's a little over five feet long (1.524 meters). That should be a decent length for evening wear or fancy dress. I am hoping I can find this yarn again in contiguous dye lots. I'd like to make more than two with which to make for people in the fandom.
Here’s a picture of the beginnings of the Rainbow Snowcone scarf [for the Tooth/Jack ship]. There’s a silver skein that’s just out of frame. Much looser and lacier, with very small skeins; I expect this will go very fast.
I had stopped working on the BlackIce scarf for a while, because the skeins are much smaller than other ribbon yarns I’ve used, and it just was taking FOREVER.
But I’ve now got enough length on it to gauge how many more skeins it will take.
Photos forthcoming, while I resist verbalizing the snarky comment about how creating BlackIce takes a lot of balls...
