i know Book of Hungry Names has eight times the wordcount of the usual choicescript game, but it really does has everything, like:
the pumpkin king, a crow friend that steals magic, werewolves (though that's a given), helping a river woo another through bad poetry, weebs, sentimental one-night-stands, cat-themed compact mirrors, moth monsters, nonbinary antique shop owner, the labyrinth, a sad guy grieving about his dead wife, a horrible boss who is secretly a vampire, the ability to keep the aforementioned ghost of the dead wife around for spiritbinding services, ecoterrorism, the jumpscare from seeing my country's ex prime minister mentioned in-game, goth metal, etc etc
and i feel like there's still a lot more to be unearthed.
