i don’t think i’ve ever seen you mention chinmay before- any thoughts?

I don’t have a lot of thoughts on them haha. I was definitely more negative about them when I was younger and thought Chinmay was boring, but now I’m just like they’re cute and I like that they care about each other so straightforwardly. It’s a weird mix of feeling like there’s little interesting development and being grateful that there was no ongoing romance drama hahaha.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if Jinmay had more of her own development outside of their relationship or AT LEAST more off-screen Jinmay mentions. Like Chiro mentioning a message he got from Jinmay about where she’s traveling or the monkeys getting mad at Chiro over Girl Trouble. It would have been cool if we saw them legitimately sparring against each other too (not as vs giant robots or mind-controlled)!

This hasn’t been an issue for me recently, but if you can understand that if someone talked about why they like __ and someone else went up to them to say “okay, but this is why __ is bad actually” unprompted is rude, you can understand that it would be rude to go up to someone after they talked about why they don’t like __ and say “okay, but this is why __ is great actually” unprompted. Please at least ask if the person is interested in hearing it.

idk if you ever answers this already, but what do you think is more realistic for continuing the show: a season, a movie, or a graphic novel?

Graphic novel, but I am getting interested in Disney’s increasing number of re-makes of Disney Afternoon shows that I wonder if they’ll ever get to Jetix shows. I have no genuine hope for it, but hey, I was surprised by SRMTHFG being the first Jetix show they decided to put up on Disney Plus too.

Oh, I just felt really soft for them......like the Alchemist isolated himself in the jungle place for some reason and Clayton was the only one who could really visit him (tho that one villain probably broke into the lab to steal the Magno Ball Blazer? lol). They call each other friends....they care for each other........even at really bad points, they thought of each other (Alchemist wanting to say good bye to Calyton, Clayton trying to find out what happened to the Alchemist)........and like the pic felt very domestic, do you think like....Clayton bought the Alchemist his supplies like groceries??? Did they cook for each other??? Again, I’m just feeling really soft for them.

It’s been said in a s5, there would be missions the team goes on, but what would they even be?? I always imagined the war would literally just be making their way past soldiers to get to Skeleton King ASAP, which in my mind wouldn’t last a whole season..?

So I super don’t remember if Ciro implied/said this or if I was just connecting dots for myself, but that a possible season 5 starts off with Chiro, Gibson, and Aurora, I thought the team would work separately or have been working separately fighting to maintain/take over sections of Shuggazoom. Now that I think about it more, it actually gives me Teen Titan vibes when the team split up to give other superheroes communicators?

Even without that, the war was ideally going on for years so it isn’t actually easy for them to just make it past the soldiers and get to Skeleton King. I imagine they’d have some plot device to be like a clue to stop Skeleton King, investigate, more secret past reveals, oh no our allies are losing, reunion, discovering meaning of Chiro’s destiny, blah blah something to that effect. I actually think 13 episodes would be too short to effectively explore everything and a movie would be worse haha.........

Did i read somewhere the monkey team couldn't pilot/ individually drive their own separate cars/jets until Chiro came along, or am i making this up?

I'm assuming you're referencing what I wrote on my Light Box Expo notes which was actually 'The monkeys could not pilot the Super Robot without Mandarin before Chiro'. It's been over a year so I don't remember how the convo went exactly, but my impression was that Ciro meant machinder mode and not the individual vehicles.
