There’s something quite nice about cutting pages for the bomt.

I’ve been sorting them out into sets of book pages to make it easier to track what I’ve got in stock and what I need to get more of. Right now I can make 9 more before I need to get more felt. And I don’t want to be using my sewing machine at unsociable hours.

Appart from the sewing machine and tape measure, this is everything I’m using to make the Bomts. As they’re made by hand, there’s a bit of variation in how each one turns out, but I use tempates and measurements to be as consistant as I can.

Book of Many Textures: How to order

Currently the Books are priced at £10/each.

Drop me an email with your address and if you have any questions about materials or customisation requests (e.g. “No felt please”, “Please leave out the email label”,” Can I please have a different cover?”, ”No Elastic please.”). I might be able to source alternate pages, maybe.

I’ll email back to either say I have one ready to post or to give you an approximate wait time and my paypal details.

Once you’ve paid I’ll pop it in the post and please do tell me when it arrives and what you think of it :)

What you get

A Book, as described on this blog:

It’s about 3.5” by 3.5” (a little smaller) and  1/2 ” thick.

Pages: fleece, organza, felt, plastic, plasticised-cloth, faux fur, jersey, netting, crushed velour and carpet.

Faux Leather  cover and an Elsastic strap

Be Aware that customisation requests could add over a week of extra time to an order on top of the time discussing changes. While I will attempt to accommodate customisation requests they may not be possible or practical, and I will not make changes that negatively impact the goals of the Book.
