I've posted this before, but it may need to be revisited:

This is a diagram of the four TEOTL for the day and what part of the body they govern:

TONALLI {Shadow Soul}: [patron of the day] the heat/matte amber or gold

TEYOLLIA {Spirit Soul}: [number of the day] energy around the heart/green

NAHAUL{lord of the night}: animal spirit/blue

IHIYOTL {trecena}: essence or divine breath/ red

TEOTL often gets translated in "gods", but a more accurate word would be "ENERGIES"...
