A person is sitting in a dark corner of the secret library.

It may be daytime outside, but because there are no windows in here, this part of the library is shrouded in something like perpetual twilight.

And this student has somehow found a nook so shadowed by bookshelves that their face can barely be made out. They're just sitting on an armchair, unmoving, staring at nothing.

It's quite an eerie sight.

Ryker walks over and watches the half siren dance, taking out a few gems and waiting patiently for him to finish. It's polite to pay your performers but rude to interrupt them.
