thinkingggg abouttttt. joysorrow n joysorrowdove (my oh-see). and headcanon names. joy is mary and i nabbed that from my dear friend beo. sorrow is pyotr, or petya if you're close. i have profiles for these guys on my pronouns.cc and i am quite fond of lesbianing it up whenever possible. i need to be in the middle of that. more rambling below cut.

also for bi-lesbian joy bc i know that may incense some people (but i really hope it doesn't because have you READ my bio): she's a soldier. realistically she wouldn't use any labels because she has bigger things to worry about but also, given the standards of the time, she'd flatly call herself a lesbian without caring much about... strictly adhering to that?
maybe sorrow was always a woman (or at least, when joy met her) or maybe they transitioned when they met, but joy cared about him regardless. connection is connection. don't need to put labels on it.

sorrow: what a curious question. as if qualifying me will put your own doubts at ease, or lessen the dread that grows now the longer you consider it. if you think me a man, than i am a man. if you think me a woman, than i am a woman. if you think me neither, then... you're closer to your target yet so far off. refer to me as you see fit, but it will not matter in the long term.
joy: what is the purpose in asking? it makes no difference to me what you see me as. we are all pawns unless we surpass the violence that brands us from birth.
(but she most definitely likes women.)
