Now i'm also think about how my shard terran OCs from Shattered Glass Earthspark would eventually/gradually diverge their appearances from the Malto terrans who the Autobots forced them to become copies of by scanning the same alts (to get their powers without them), when they rebel/defect/move away from the Autobots.
I saw a few people drawing Spitfire with vertical rotors in bot mode, and the warrior toy's mold's finials are much shorter than Twich's are in the show or the deluxe toy. That could be something. Also i was thinking Spitfire would eventually change her altmode into a flying alien bug that resembles the warrior toy but without the rotors. She's purple,propably with yellow lights. Idk her eyes.
Speedbump, though, would basically look like Jawbreaker. SG Jawbreaker and baseline Jawbreaker in my rewrite idea never scan anything and decide to become monoformers (though they paint themselves and put on the horns and something resembling the spike kibble, and in baseline Jawbreaker's case, pink lenses over his eyes and biolights, as self expression/fashion choice) so Speedbump gets the dinosaur all to himself. Not sure about what to do with his bot mode, besides perhaps leaving out the horns. Speedbump also decided to scan it on his own, without Autobot orders/permission, so the dinosaur is something he actually wanted.
Not sure about Hard Drive. Hashtag changes her altmode into a pickup truck and the Autobots make him scan a G.H.O.S.T van, so they already have different altmodes (the van doesn't give him Hashtag's wifi powers because they come from her being an outlier). Maybe something with his head design?? Though since Hard Drive is the scapegoat of the abusive Autobot "family", maybe he doesn't try to distinguish himself from Hashtag because they want him to be their Hashtag and he's desperate for their approval? Or maybe i should have him rebel because of his treatment? I'm not sure. Idk his colors.
I don't really know how to distinguish Aces' design from Thrash'. Perhaps not that suprising, because i don't really know what to do with her. I've thought she could be white and non-dark green, idk about eyes.
Also idk about Windfall, who would be the Nightshade redeco of the group. The only real ideas i have is that she's be the "golden child" of the dynamic and the assigned team leader. Maybe she wouldn't try to change her appearance because of that?? Idk her colors at all.
(Aftermath still exists, but the Autobots didn't get him and he's with the Ascenticons)
