I did some designs for Cassandra’s first look in “Act” 1 of The Flower’s Keeper AU (which you can read a little more about on this post: x )
I wanted to keep it fairly simple since she wouldn’t have access to anything particularly nice or fancy. Koi and I both had been picturing her in green since the concept was originally formed (for the record, this was well before PEEV aired and green-tunic-Cass became canon, lol.) We felt it would give her a stealth advantage when scavenging, and I also liked the idea of her having longer hair to represent the difference in her upbringing.
Tiny fact: The belt across her shoulder was actually going to be either a satchel (for her to collect/hide things in) or a hunting quiver, buuuut...I kind of forgot to draw that in. So now it’s just a belt. 😂 I’ll probably give her a satchel in future illustrations, though, because she does need one for a lot of the earlier events of the AU.
