It had been four days, and several guests later, and Colton was no longer quite so drugged-up. Though that did mean that his back was starting to hurt more. He didn't mind, though - it reminded him that he was still alive, something he was becoming more and more grateful for each day. The doctors said that he was lucky to not have lasting damage, after all. It might have crippled him, might have even killed him.
He had been left a magazine a couple of days ago, but he found it difficult to read - some of the articles were very long, and his attention span was even worse now than it was normally. So having a visitor was something he was delighted by. When there was a knock on the door, he sat up, looking to the entrance with interest. Oh, thank god, he'd been going out of his mind.
