A question for other people.

When you read (and when I say this, I mean while you're in the safety of your home or anywhere private, where others can't see or hear you), do you do it calmly? If I looked at you secretly when you read, would I see you just sitting there, while the rest of you was in a completely different world, leaving the body behind so the mind can enjoy the story fully?

Or are you full contact with your book? Do you yell in anger, scream in terror, shout advice at the characters, hit or shake or hug the book as if it was a character, flail you limbs in unwordable feelings? When a joke is told, do you laugh out loud, roll your eyes, tell a joke back? Literally rofl? If I secretly looked at you, would I see you having a conversation or an argument with a bunch of glued together paper and ink?

Or are you a little mixture of both?

I'm just curious.
