TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED: TRIAL & ERROR 3-page preview!

The second printing of the TFNation 2017 exclusive graphic novel was recently posted to the attendees who missed out on it at the con, and is now arriving in US mailboxes! I think that means it’s well past time we gave you a proper three-page-preview, so check out the beginning of the story in these pages from Chapter 1, featuring art, colours AND sfx by @kingoji and letters by Andrew Turnbull! @dyemooch provides the cover, and @herzspalter and Gavin Spence drew Chapters 2 and 3, all written by me and Jim Sorenson!

(“Trial and Error” is an unofficial graphic novel based on the unmade Season 4 of Transformers Animated, bringing the series to a conclusion. It is a non-profit production, unaffiliated with Hasbro, produced exclusively for attendees of TFNation 2017.)

It brings us great pleasure to bring you some extra information on our convention exclusive fan production: Trial and Error!

First and foremost, we are thrilled to reveal the cover, courtesy of professional comic creator Josh Perez!

From the reactions we've seen online we can see many of our attendees are keen to get their hands on this comic. As a result, we wanted to be clear on the ways in which the comic will be available, to give all attendees a fair chance of purchasing a copy.

1. The book will be available for purchase on the Saturday and Sunday of the convention only. This is to ensure fairness to day ticket holders.

2. Copies will initially be limited to 1 per attendee. This is to ensure as many people as possible at the event can get their copy.

3. The book will be available for purchase at the official TFNation Merchandise desk, which will be located within the main hall.

5. Each copy will be priced at £6.00.

Transformers fans are no strangers to supporting a good cause, and neither are we at TFNation. Therefore, after printing costs are covered, all proceeds of the book will be donated to Mary's Meals - the great charity which is championed by the Toy-Fu stall.
