Since Lili had quit the force and drastically simplified her life, she’d decided that ‘fun’ officially had no place on her schedule. She worked, she ate leftovers and the rest of the time she dedicated to her favourite guy- Reese. Of course Reese was a German Shepherd who also loved leftovers and, on occasion, helping out with work. Even now though, after everything, she still wasn’t completely immune to the charms of a gal like Michelle King.
When she had worked for her oldest brother, Lili hadn’t seen much of Michelle but she knew enough from watching the Sarge’s crinkled brow and hearing his endless sighs whenever she got in some kind of “shenanigan”. Then again, if anyone was more serious than Lili Mahdavi, it was Sgt. James King.
The point however is that all the rumours were true. It was literally impossible to dislike Michelle and even harder to not be drawn into her bubble. So yeah, that’s how Lili wound up in some dress, in some club, with some drink-with-a-little-umbrella in her hand. Tilting her head towards Michelle, she raised an eyebrow and almost successfully fought off a smile.
“Okay, I’m here. I ordered the drink, I’ve seen the umbrella. Have I checked everything off your ‘it’ll be fun list’ yet or what?” ( @michelle2kings )
