There's only one place to be on Saturday, 5th April...

If you haven't already heard - and honestly, who hasn't? - the Juliette Vanderbilt is hosting a party at her family's home in the Hamptons. With more floors, swimming pools (including indoor, heated, of course), hot tubs, neon and shots than you could even imagine... Juliette (along with her co-conspirators Sapphire Vandervort and Rose Haven) have thought of everything. The vibe is fun, the vibe is flirty. The vibe wants you taking a chance, throwing out your inhibitions, and having the time of your life. They do have a not-so secret agenda, though. This party is unofficially (as in, Jesse doesn't know) a means to get bestie Jesse Walker back out there. He's a catch, you know? And if you're looking to shoot your shot, tonight is the night to do it. Juliette, Sapphire and Rose have made sure to stack the deck in his favour. So, what are you waiting for? Let's party, already!

Okay there is one other place to be on Saturday, 5th April...

Now, if you're not headed to the party of year (to date), there are other hot tickets tonight. For one, Jamie Park is hosting a get-together at Peter Vanderbilt's art gallery (after hours) of wine, cheese, live music and general artsy debauchery. If you love listening to wild stories, dancing and 'ooh-ing and ah-ing' over wine so expensive it'd make you blush... We'll see you there!

OOC Information:

Both events start tomorrow (Friday 22nd May) so you can make starters at either one (or both if you're character is making the rounds) from then! Just pop in the tags the location your character is at.

Your characters can definitely know that Juliette-Sapphire-Rose are trying to set Jesse up! If they're interested, please feel free to come blow kisses.

Gossip Girl is planning on spilling secrets so if you'd like something of your character's to be #exposed... message the main and we'll add you to the list!

What's On? Upper East Side Edition:

So, what are you up to today, Upper East Siders? I know some of you must be...

Attending the corporate networking event at 'Angel Capital', run by Logan, Jake and Camille's father - Robert Hunter. It's a stuffy event but the drinks are free and if you're lucky, you'll be graced by the dazzling presence of Angie Hunter!

The fan fave bar on 57th is having a 'Heroes and Villains' theme night. Come dressed up as your faves, have some drinks, shoot some pool, dance the night away... Try not to do anything Gossip Girl wouldn't do.

Fashion Show In The Park! An impromptu catwalk has been set up in Central Park, come along and to see some new and upcoming designers, swoon over the models and maybe grab a hot dog.

Tumblr Update (ish):

Hi friends!

Tumblr have announced their plan to roll out / test a new way of showing reblogs and likes which might / will impact our threads.

The general vibe is that it will be harder now for us to find out replies, especially older ones! So, while this hasn’t been totally rolled out and while Tumblr are taking feedback - let’s all look out for each other, don’t be afraid to send a wee message to say you’ve replied to something.

We can even try @‘ing each other in replies so that it comes up as notification.

If you don’t track your replies (guilty, I am just out here LOOKING), we can help you make a list with links and keep an eye out for you.

This is early days and nothing we haven’t survived before! Let’s keep a tight formation, get our heads in the game and roll out.

Oh dear, Gossipers... February was certainly a month for heartache, wasn't it? Or maybe that was just Logan Hunter and Isobel Prescott. News couldn't help but spread after Logan's Paris themed birthday party - city of love, non? - that our once IT couple are no more. What exactly happened? Well, that's still up for speculation. With Isobel out of office, the party also took a turned when our Upper East Side favourites were paired together for a night of... well, whatever they wanted. By now, word has gotten around about who was paired who and the rumours are spiraling! I mean, Blair and Atticus? Scottie and Beth? Oliver and Jess? Dean and Rose!? Truly, the list goes on and Gossip Girl is ravenous for the details. To name a few, we saw the triumphant and dramatic re-entrances of Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass and Lucas Baizen. Plus, the new and intriguing face of Dawson Wren. Everything seems to quietened down on the Howard Archibald front... although, I think we all know the threat is far from over. And neither is Nate's second exile from the inner inner circle. As we recover from a very eventful Valentine's Day and March ever onward, Gossip Girl will be watching and waiting. XOXO

Thankfully, Gossipers, we managed to make it through the first month of a new year unscathed. Well, mostly unscathed. While most scrambled to perform serious damage control after Howard Archibald's hack, the rest of us carried on. This whole thing would blow over fast, right? There was no major damage... right? After having only salvaged their reputation, Anne Vanderbilt and Nate Archibald are once again New York's most whispered about. While Anne has opted to flee back to the Hamptons, Nate has been left to take the brunt of the accusations. Our former insider turned outsider is now turned social pariah. We wouldn't stand too close to him if we were you. 'Gossip Girl' has taken a small step back, perhaps even shocked herself at Howard's surprise return. That doesn't mean she's dead and gone, though. While everyone looks one way, she still holds the cards to many of our secrets we thought buried. In typical Upper East fashion, though, everyone is freshly abuzz with news of a Valentine's Day party. In the fabulous theme of 'Moulin Rouge!', we'll be transported to a night in Paris, hosted by none other than our own Logan Hunter. Taking inspiration from previous events, Logan's arranged a 'perfect match' game for those daring enough to play. Who knows? This could be a game changer.

MONTH UPDATE: JANUARY 2025

Birthdays

Jesse Walker - 26th January (turning 21)

Well, we've made it Gossipers! New year, new me... new drama. December saw the return of the Fairchild Ball, now rebranded to the 'Winter Ball' and Ella Fairchild did everything she could to make it a success. And it was, for a while. Everyone was invited and we saw the iconic appearance of many Upper East Side parents. Even Anne Arch- Vanderbilt was in attendance! Things hit a snag when the lights went out (gasp!) and a scene was caused. Everyone's phones were buzzing off the hook but this was one gift no one wanted. Howard Archibald had made himself known and that he's here for #revenge. With his announcement, there was a major hack on many Upper East Siders' companies, secrets leaked and money stolen. And yet again, The Captain was at the centre of it. What were we to do? The night ended with a bang! From there, it was all hands on deck for damage control. What a way to spend the holidays, right? Even so, many of our Upper East Siders fled for sunnier pastures and saw the New Year come in style. Whoever kissed or clinked glasses, only time will tell. With a new-old threat back in town, are we all distracted from Gossip Girl's return? Is she involved somehow? Will more secrets be spilled? Let's find out. XOXO
