Note to self. ****** #Repost @t_isforteaching with @get_repost ・・・ If you don’t use @starburst did you even teach the Pythagorean Theorem?!? This lesson is near & dear to my heart because I first used it during #studentteaching for the dreaded edTPA project. I use the starbursts as an example to prove that the Theorem works by making a 3-4-5 right triangle from the candy. I then make squares off each side & show that the smaller squares of starbursts can be moved and rearranged to cover the largest square. {there’s plenty of examples on YouTube if you need a slowed down version} & then finally I use the starbursts to motivate 🙌🏻🙌🏻 • • #iteachtoo #iteachmath #targetteachers #starburst #instablogger #teachersofinstagram #tftpickme
