Sept. 19 & 20, 2015 (Toronto, ON)

The Toronto Food and Wine Festival was a foodie's delight that featured delicious culinary creations at Evergreen Brick Works between Sept. 18 and 20.

Several celebrities including Curtis Stone, Gail Simmons and Chuck Hughes were on hand to present their latest tips and to greet fans.

Below are just some of the highlights from the weekend.

Thanks to everyone who made #TFW15 a rousing success. The 72 hours was packed with learning, improvement and many, many accomplishments. All students and coaches should feel proud of what they were able to develop and produce in such a short period. 

Several students were recognized for their efforts: 

Michel duCille Award -- Commitment in storytelling: Kenneth Holston “Can’t Afford Pride”

Northern Short Course in Photojournalism & National Press Photographers Association Award -- A-Z award (showing growth): Gabriella Jones “Redeeming Evan"

Nikon Award -- Best in Show: Yu Hua “Leo”

THINK TANK PHOTO Award -- Overcoming the Odds: Jodi Martinez “Fit Over Fifty”

THINK TANK PHOTO Award -- Most Innovative: Amanda Piela “Flawless"

MPJ Award -- Most Notable: Dave Salanitri “Growing Men”

The Fall Workshop wouldn't have been possible without incredible sponsors including Nikon, Apple Inc., National Geographic, THINK TANK PHOTO, Syracuse University Bookstore and Northern Short Course in Photojournalism, plus the faculty, staff and Dean Lorraine Branham at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
