Here I go again. Trying to add something to the background other than textured color. I got as far as putting up a fence and then decided that was enough. I think it looks alright. Proportional dimensions don’t exist in this alternate universe artwork, so don’t pay attention to the fence poles being different sizes. That’s normal.
Anyway! I’m getting ahead of myself. Of course this is artwork from my good friend @atowncalledbedlam! But what makes this Apple Horse different than the many others that he’s drawn is the fact it’s a commission. @tg1117 was the one who approached Dilarus to create this thing, and I just wanted the color it because it’s quality Apple. I ended up doing this much faster than others I’ve done in the past. Found a new technique that I kinda already knew about, but have been too stubborn in my old ways to really do much for it.
Fine-tuning the selection tool allows you to fill color so much faster. It’s not really fair D:
Coloring this makes me want to look up a few more tutorials on how to get some better techniques going on.
