The moment I received this mission, I knew I had to stop at nothing to train for the day I get to murder Agent Light Dragon of Corazones y Espiritus. Not killing her meant the doom of Muerte Eterna. So why can’t I do it..?

A week has passed since the night we accidentally spent together. It was clear that she was avoiding me, no matter how much she’s denying it. There was a drastic change from her always texting me to absolutely no messages from her at all.

It sucks that I don’t have my crush talking to me anymore. I guess it’s for the best, since she’s pretty much the same person I should kill before she ends me.

However, just one look at that smile, those eyes, and the bracelet I gave her on her wrist...

How could I say no to loving this girl?

I decided to make the first move by tapping the Messages on my phone and sent a quick text to Kate.

Me: Hey Kate-cakes, wanna head over to Valentino’s later?? We have a new flavor I think you’d like ;)

I chuckled, remembering how she almost fainted after knowing that her favorite ice cream and desserts shop was my family’s business. She had THAT kind of reaction over ice cream and it was PRICELESS.

A soft beep came from my phone and there was a reply from her.

Mi Luz 😍❤: Sorry Josh, I’m kinda busy right now...

Me: That excuse won’t work on me, sweetheart, it’s the weekend.

Mi Luz 😍❤: I have to run an errand for my parents.

Me: Didn’t you just say that your parents were out of town until next week?

After seeing how she didn’t reply, I straightforwardly asked her...

Me: Is there a problem? I think we need to talk..

Mi Luz 😍❤: I’m sorry, I’m not ready to face you yet, Josh. I just need more time, but I’m not mad at you, I swear.

Me: Ok, I’m sorry for pushing you.. Tell me if something’s up, alright?

Mi Luz 😍❤: You got it 😊

A relieved smile spreads across my own face. One day, I’ll tell her the truth behind who I am. And when that day comes, I wouldn’t be afraid to pursue her, because there’s no other girl like her.
