I wanted to mix things up a bit by working with a story that was more focused on Hide and Eto’s relationship rather than the usual, so please, please, PLEASE, check out Akie’s gorgeous fic to go along with this!

Here we are, on the other side of the bang, and what a journey it has been for everyone to get here! There may have been some lows, but there were more highs and it is all clear from all the hard work that everyone has produced for the bang, all creative, original and beautiful, and I’m glad to be able to give the somewhat dying fandom something like this to remember.
A big, special thanks to each of the other mods who have helped with the bang, who made sure that this event was possible. Thank you to Snow for helping us by providing their knowledge and advice from the @hidebigbang, especially when it came to making the groups, it wouldn’t have been possible without you. G; The bang would not have been as half as big nor creative without your constant input and crazy ideas. Thank you for helping with the blog, helping with the emails, messaging people to get our posts reblogged and seen, and literally everything else that made sure that everything went ahead as smoothly as it did. And thank you Oro, because without you, this whole bang would have never have gotten started and would have remained an idea in my past. Your amazing edits have definitely inspired everyone in the bang and you should definitely be proud of everything you have created just for the posts. So, thank you guys, for everything you’ve done to make it as fun and successful as possible
And the biggest thanks to everyone who partook in the event! No matter how big or little you contribute to the event, if you were one of the amazing people who helped to pinched in and help someone else complete their project for whatever reason they could not, or if you only followed the bang to make sure you could to read, like and comment on every fic and art pieces that was created for this event, this event would not be possible with you, nor would it be as big or as successful as it was.

I know it’s hard to see but it’s supposed to be Nishiki and Kimi bwhahaha I unfortunately didn’t have as much time to work on this as I wanted to but at least I managed to produce two drawings.

After his mother's death, Kaneki decides that growing up quickly is the only way he'll ever be safe. Even if it means being alone. However, all his self-taught lessons in maturity don't prepare him for meeting Hide, an enthusiastic elementary schooler who's determined to be his best friend. Kaneki slowly thaws to Hide's friendship, but he isn't sure what to do when his friend stops coming to the park.
