last train home.❞ maegan & junghee
the day has finally arrived. maegan’s last day on paris, her flight was scheduled in about 3-4 hours and she knew she had to be there as early as possible. if she wanted to get to the airport, she should take the third train stop. her heart heaves as she stared at junghee’s sleeping face on her shoulder. she must’ve been tired with all the walking they did. it’s been an amazing ride for the last three days. never did she imagined they could visit so many places, around five cities in such a short span of time. she had lots of fun, mainly because junghee was with her. for a short span of time, she managed to knows her bits by bits, the traveling seemed to make it easier as it happened naturally-- how junghee suggested food she love, stopped in certain shops she liked. there was so much to know about her, so much things to discover. maegan wanted to know more but time doesn’t permit her do to so. it felt as if the three days passed by so fast, in just a blink of an eye. maegan..... doesn’t want to leave yet, but she knew better her parents wouldn’t like it it if she were to stay longer.
her chest constricts. and it doesn’t help the dancer that junghee looked so adorable with her sleeping face. maegan couldn’t help it, and before she knew it she had already took a picture of the woman’s sleeping face, the printed polaroid came out quickly and maegan finds herself smiling, putting the photograph on her pocket. she would write notes on the back, but that would have to wait later as the train seemed to move a little fast. she’d mess up her handwriting.
a contemplative look was given at the woman resting on her shoulder, maegan doesn’t know whether to wake her up or not. she looked too peaceful-- she didn’t want to interrupt her sleep. but her stop was about to come and she didn’t want to leave the woman just that. she decided to just wake her up, say goodbye perhaps. so she did. she shook junghee’s slim frame with her grasp. “junghee, wake up.....” she whispered. “my stop...” a pause, and she swallowed thickly. “is just around the corner.”
