— in good company.

“How’s about that one?” He muses, dark eyes focused on another demigod lingering a few feet away. From what Milo had gathered through observation, the masked stranger had been eyeing Hyuna for a while now—indiscreetly he might as well as added.
Walking past both him and the celtic demigoddess every so often in hopes of getting the woman’s attention, though she was more interested in the conversation that currently had going. One arm slung over the elder’s shoulders, he used his empty hand to gesture to the stranger. “Looks like he’s got the hots for you.” He points out with a smirk. “He’s walked by eyeing your ass enough times for me to get the idea.” He hums thoughtfully before a mischievous grin turns up the corners of his mouth.
“Want me to call him over?” He teases, though he’s only somewhat serious about it. His judgement already starting to cloud over from the effects of the alcohol—he wasn’t drunk yet, but he was well on his way there with four glasses of wine downed and another on the way. “I’ll do it and I’ll make a scene too.” He casually threatens with a wave of his hand.
“Anything to make this shindig a bit more lively.” He breathes as he goes for his fifth wine glass.
He took a long sip of the dark liquid as he let himself rake his eyes over the crowd at the dance floor once again. A shifting and changing sea of black and white—it was a rather pretty sight he supposed considering the overall lighting of the ballroom. Nonetheless, he grimaced a little against the rim of the glass. He rolled his eyes and began to wonder why he had decided to attend the valentine masquerade again.
As much as he liked the idea of a night of indulgence with sin and lust, among other things, he wasn’t exactly in the mood for dancing or mingling tonight. Or well, at least in this sort of atmosphere. For one, there were too many lights and for two, the music wasn’t much to his liking.
That was his sole reasoning for making a beeline for the drinks table as soon as he saw it as well as idling by it with a hand scrolling through his phone, his earphones on, and a disinterested and bored look on his face. If it hadn’t been for the demigoddess beside him, he’d probably have stayed that way for the remainder of the night. Or at least until he drank his mind away and more or less went home with someone.
