"Kiss you?" She faked the surprise. "Why would I kiss you when you can kiss me?" She challenged Mia. Her arms automatically wrapped around Mia's waist pulling their bodies as close as possible. "Are you afraid of kissing me first?"

Everything about them screamed new, the way they looked at each other, the shyness of their smiles, the gentleness of their touch.

After a few days apart Ruby was finally able to visit the Star Cory and meet with Mia again. She couldn't believe they had known each other for barely two weeks when it felt like they were always together. She couldn't remember days before when she didn't have her soulmate.

They still kept it private, so they could navigate their bond and relationship on their own, without good advice from the people around. They were in their own perfect, happy bauble.

When Mia asked about the dinner, Ruby quickly replied she would love to try the best burgers Star City had to offer, and an hour later they were walking back to Ruby's hotel after a romantic dinner at the burger place. "I didn't think romantic and burgers could be used in one sentence but you surprised me. It was the best date." She grinned happily and kissed Mia on the cheek. This kind of PDA was still new and exciting she bit her lower lip when Mia brought Ruby's hand to her lips and kissed her palm. She could feel herself blushing, her knees suddenly felt very unsteady. "What are you doing to me, Miss Smoak?" She asked pushing Mia gently against the nearest wall and kissing her passionately.
