025. Flu
Sometimes, Jace hates being the token human of the coven, but at least being sick gives him an excuse to be at the middle of a literal dog-pile.
Blake: M, C; Tak: A, X; Zac: H, L
M: Do you believe in marriage?
Well yeah. I mean, it sort of seals the deal between two people in love, at least in the eyes of the government and most societies I guess. But I don’t think a piece of paper can tell you who you spend the rest of your life with or anything. Its more like, you choose and then the rest sort of follows.
C: Last time you cried?
Probably two days ago when Cay tickled me after I beat him at Halo 4. Not my fault he missed the jump shot. HAH! But like, real crying from emotions and stuff? Uhh well, guess it would have to be when Mikey and Me watched 7 pounds last weekend. It was intense. Forgot how good that move is.
A: What is your life ambition?
Help people enjoy music. All music. I don’t expect to be everyone’s favorite or even for the world to really get my own music. But if I can just inspire one person at least to start listening to something they didn’t normally? Or inspire someone to start writing or performing their own music? Then I think that’s the best thing I could do with my life. I mean, music’s given me everything, and I want everyone else to have a chance to get the same
X: Would you ever consider a threesome?
Totally answered this already! Haha! Nah, it’s not my thing, ya know? I’ve got Jace and Jace has me and, well, lets just say I don’t think there is even enough stamina between to handle one another so what hope would a third person have?
H: What’s the most heroic thing you’ve ever done?
So I might have beaten up the ass hat who was picking on Oliver. I dunno what kind of shit counts as heroic. I’m no hero and don’t pretend to be so how would I know?
L: Who was your first love?
Fuck man. I don’t even know if I know what love is. I guess Scarlett? I mean… I’ve wanted her since… forever. I don’t know how to love someone really so how would I know? But like, if you’re talking about intimacy or some shit it’s Shiloh. Hell if I know either way.
Isaac: C, Tak: X, Blake: V
ISAAC C: Last time you cried?
When I was eleven and my parents got divorced. But that isn’t any of your fucking business, now is it?
TAK X: Would you ever consider a threesome?
Ehhh, once or twice I’ve considered it. I mean, have you seen the guys at my school? Hot right? RIGHT? But no. Not my style. Call me greedy or selfish but I want all of someone to myself. Not that I think I couldn’t handle it but uhh, just between us, I’ve got my hands full with Jace. ;)
BLAKE V: Are you a virgin? If so, when did you lose your virginity?
Why do people ask that? Who asks tha— whatever man. No. I’m not. And uhhh …. around Junior Prom?
At least I think I do...
"We'll him falling for a stranger, a player, singing I l-l-love you~" His three roommates sang in unison. Ronald Martin wasn't sure why Tak, Evan, and Raf were dancing about their apartment in nothing but boxers and leather jackets but it had happened.
The music was loud, the three boys dancing together, Evan spinning Tak and Raf in unison before the three moved closer together for further provocative movements.
"I do not think I will ever of this..." Ron found himself murmuring moments before the blonde boy who had laid claim to his heart once more, Evan, grabbed hold of his hands and, still dancing, pulled him from the door way into the fray of the music. With a chuckle of amusement, Ron found his cheeks begin to heat as Raf placed both hands upon the older boy's back hurrying Ron along.
With a glance backwards, Ron vaguely caught Tak dancing behind Raf in a line, a spin from the blonde boy shutting the door with a slam that drowned itself in the beat of the music.
"How to be a heart breaker~"
Restraint
"Oh come on," Tak whined. "This is cruel and unusual punishment!"
Jace only chuckled in reply as he continued the slow, and as Tak would put it, teasingly painful, application of paint to his bare chest. "I told you, handsome. Its for school. Not for fun."
In truth, Jace knew there was only so long he could tease his boyfriend before Tak snapped. Though to Tak's credit the blonde had survived an hour.
"But..." Tak whined, his words cut short as his eyes traced the drip of pain that traveled down the other boy's middle and began to soak itself into Jace's boxers, the only article of clothing that remained on.
"But?" The younger college boy asked as he slid his paint coated fingers down one side, his own eyes tracing the lines in the mirror before him.
"You're killing me!" Tak exclaimed as he let his dramatic side kick in. With a loud groan the blonde boy fell into the bean bag chair face first and only after sighing once more did he notice the carefully set aside canvas of a dried painting, a piece of paper with a grade attached, and the words 'Final Grade'.
"What class did you say this was for again?" Tak asked as his eyes flickered over the paper attached to his boyfriend's work.
"Art Applications. Why?"
"LIAR!" Tak cried out, the blonde boy on his feet faster than Jace could turn completely, and much to his delight he found his boyfriend's hot mouth against his own before any further words could be said.
Alright, so here it is. I'll probably go back and change a scene or two when I have more time but for now I'm happy with it. :3
Embers
"Dad? What're you doing out here?" Eleven year old Isaac asked with a tilt of his head.
Tak breathed out as he took a step back from Jace who couldn't help the chuckle of what almost was. "Just uhm, saying good night to Jace." He said with a small smile as he turned to pat his son on the head. "Go on inside, I'll be there in a sec."
"M'kay," The boy murmured in reply. "Oh," Isaac paused his brow rose slightly as Tak and Jace froze once again. "Don't forget Dad its your turn to do the dishes tonight."
"Alright." Tak chuckled. He once more waited for the boy to shut the door before he turned his attention towards Jace who bit his lip in an attempt to keep his laughter at bay.
"We're acting like we're in high school again." Jace chuckled in amusement.
"Do you even remember us in high school?" Tak grinned.
"Sure, Mr.three dates to get a kiss." He laugh. The reply only earned a wider grin from Tak before he moved to seal the end of a night out with someone who had begun to breath life back into his heart.
"Better to not let that happen again then," He chuckled as he moved to close the distance between them.
"Da-aaaaad!" Isaac called from the door once again. "Uncle Evan wants to know if you ca--" The eleven year old stopped as he found his father and Jace laughing, both men with faint blushes upon their faces.
"Goodnight, Tak." Jace breathed as his laugh died down into a chuckle. With a swift motion he pressed both hands into his coat pockets and with grin towards Isaac and a red-faced Tak made his way back towards the streets.
"Night..." Tak breathed with a smile so odd that his son took to knocking the house phone to his father's head to break the strange feature.
"That's a weird face. Stop it. Uncle Evan wants to know if you and him are still going to do the field trip thing for school next week."
A Sour Dakery
“Tak?” Daniel frowned as he took the seat opposite the blonde man who offered a half smile between sips of his drink. From the smell of it, Daniel knew it to be whiskey and from the knowledge of how his spouse operated knew it was not the liquor of choice for a happy Tak.
Daniel had received the call between his classes at the University for the dinner plans. He had hoped that things would begin to repair themselves over the past year and while there had been moments of normalcy, mostly with their son, Isaac, he hadn’t been able to touch Tak without a grimace of betrayal flashing before the other man’s facade of complacency took hold.
“Why Gotham? This isn’t really your usual pick for dinner...” The professor asked as he glanced towards the menu. The foreign feeling of dread washed over him. In the pit of his stomach he knew what was coming and felt the tendrils of fear begin their slithering ascent towards his heart.
“Felt like a change.” Tak answered before downing the last of his drink.
“That your first?” Daniel asked with a frown.
“Fifth.” The blonde man replied with sigh.
“Tak...” Daniel murmured. “Look I know things have been rough between us ever since--”
The other man smiled then, the action silencing Daniel before he could finish. “I tried.” He murmured as he signaled for the waiter to bring him another drink. “I tried for Isaac,” He breathed before he looked Daniel in the eye.
“But I can’t anymore.” Tak shook his head softly. “I love you, I think part of me always will. You... you helped me in so many ways that I... I don’t think anyone could ever know. But I can’t... I can’t be in a relationship with you... or anyone if I can’t trust them.” Tak paused to breathe, his eyes glossy as he looked the face of his once lover over.
“I know you tried and I did too but I really think--” He began once again.
“Don’t.” Daniel interrupted. “Tak, please. Don’t. Just, just give me more time to earn your trust back I’ll--”
“Daniel--”
“We’ll go on a trip, just the three of us, and then it’ll--”
“Daniel...”
“We can--”
“... Daniel.” Tak murmured as he reached across the table and touched the other man’s hand. “Daniel, stop it.”
It was then the waiter brought Tak’s sixth glass of whiskey. “Thanks,” He murmured before placing a twenty into the folder the boy placed at his side.
“I’m going to need one of those too,” Daniel managed with a slight crack in his voice. He waited until the waiter left once more before he spoke again, his eyes down cast towards the hand of Tak’s still touching his.
“So this is it then?” Daniel asked in a weak tone. “We just split and go our separate ways? Force Isaac to split weekends between parents and--”
Tak withdrew his hand before he spoke. “He can tell,” The blonde man murmured. “He can tell something is off. I think he gets that from you. The perception thing, I know I’m not that good at it.” He paused to sip at his drink before he continued.
“I don’t want him to grow up in a divided house, Daniel. We love him, we both want the best for him, and... and I want to end this... this game we’re playing so we don’t hurt him more. I want us to at least be... something.”
Daniel took a moment to think over his words as his own drink was placed before him then. “Something besides spouses?”
"Friends?" Tak offered with a whisper. "No, partners. We're in this together, for Isaac. He needs both of us and... I don't want to force him to choose."
Daniel said nothing then. He took downed his glass in a single breath and as he placed the empty drink down nodded in reply. "For Isaac." He croaked. He no longer had the courage to look Tak in the eye and the other man didn't have the heart to force him.
