This is included on their recent mini album, Luna. Other songs I’ve heard by them lean more to indie & synth rock, but this is folky and dreamy.  Really nice!   The band are: Belle-Vocal, Fai-Bass/Synth, Note-Guitar/Synth, Bom-Drums. (Sorry, I can only find the nicknames!) YouTube and Five Four Records YT

Let’s check out Singer/Songwriter/Actress Violette Wautier   =D

(Her Thai name is วี วิโอเลต วอเทียร์ )

Half Thai - Belgian. Grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. Violette started to write her own music since 16 years old. At the time she was very into pop and folk music but then she started to embraced electronic music and it became a mixture of music genres that she’d like to do. Violette was started to be recognized from The Voice Thailand Season 2. (In 2013) She had a four chairs turned from all the coaches but got knocked out in the Knock out round. But that was only the beginning for her. She quickly became a rising star in Thailand. Today, She starred in many movies and sang many soundtracks. She won Best Supporting Actress from the movie Heart Attack in 2016. For her music career, she was with Universal Music Thailand for 4 years. She had many Thai hits with over 100 million views on Youtube and with 1.3 million followers on Instagram. She has also won Best Female Artist of the year in 2015. Soon after she became an independent artist, she decided to make English songs and see how far it can go.

This performance is from a Sofar Sounds Bangkok event in 2015. The song was released as a single that same year, and is also included on their 2017 full-length album, Lucid Dream. (see our previous post for 2 more songs off that album!)
