The majority of the props in the sfm beta content are showing up invisible. I've seen a lot of complicated looking solutions and I'm not sure which are relevant to these specific props?

Have you tried to spawn them in? Some models might not appear in the model viewer but are most certainly there. Double check to see if your pathways are linked up as well, sometimes materials might not match up with how the model’s linked it within the .mdl file.

If you are talking about transparent items, have a look at this in case this is the situation you’re in.
