if the Number Days gang got their own pets
Evelyn could probably have a cat, possibly a black one to match her hair. The cat is interested in her friends and when she or any of them sit down it jumps into their lap and nuzzles.
Thane would have a dog, idk what breed. He walks his dog everyday but sometimes it drags him while running.
Spencer, I can imagine him with a snake, like a ball python. The python is a bit shy but Spence still loves his danger noodle. Probably gave it a weird name (though won’t admit it.)
Bryce, for some reason I think he’d have a betta fish. Like a little blue guy who just swims around a tank.
Lena, I could see her having a little bunny or chinchilla. Just something small and fluffy. She is very careful with it, and sometimes talks to it while alone.
Arlo gets a cheerful little bird with colorful feathers. The bird loves him because he’s sweet and also because he’s really a tree (to his friends in the amusement park realm, the bird is perched on his shoulder: in real life, the bird is in his branches building a nest.)
