F: What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom? What fandom was it?
The longest has to be the Legend of Zelda fandom omg I’ve been fanning over this series for as long as I can remember!!! Honestly my love for LoZ has never waned even till this day. :3
A: Your current OTP.
Ya’ll should know that my current and forever OTP is Fakiru because they own my heart and soul always always always like. I don’t think I’ve ever been quite so passionate and dedicated to ship before, and man I HAVE been passionate and dedicated to ships before. LOL
K: How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom(s).
LET ME TELL YOU HAVE MUCH I LOVE THEM like no joke I’m grateful every day that I enjoyed a show or game and met some of the dearest friends I’ll ever have. The fandoms I’m part of are super friendly and welcoming and so much fun, with lots of content too like, wow. Particularly the PT fandom WE ARE SMALL BUT WE ARE PLUCKY AND WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER.
I: Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?
Not really. I do think it’s a little frustrating trying to follow a conversation on here though 8D;; but that’s just the format and nature of the site itself I suppose.
R: A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships.
:o Hmmm … that’s actually a good one. I can’t think of any at the moment …? OH I still like HeeroxRelena from GW but I know the big ship back then was 1x2 (which is just as delightful but still)
U: What are your favorite male/female ships?
FAKIRU!! RUETHO!! Zelink, Zidane/Dagger, idk man a lot o.o
Gourd: this is the only “memory” he has pre-amnesia, from before the age of 7. He’s in the overwinter cabin the spires hid away at and he wakes up early, earlier than anyone. in the dream it makes sense but that’s why the house is empty but he knows everyone is still there. He goes out and walks down to the river where he was found and suddenly he’s in an entirely different forest and he can see the sea from the cliff. The sun is setting low and he sees a lady in white between the trees behind him. he only realizes this is venat after endwalker but she tells him to run along home because it’s getting dark. He follows her and the entire dream creases like a page and he can vaguely hear his mom talking. Then he wakes up. He hasn’t had this dream since endwalker though
Strike: strike raaaarely dreams he’s one of those mysterious dreamless people almost. but he has had night terrors, brief, vivid, disconcertingly real recurring dreams where he finds that first dead warder floating in the river against a log and he drags him out only for it to repeat again and again with the bodies of all the other boys he knew, and sometimes nyja. or of him sneaking into the orbonne monastery and finding the mutilated body of the captive he and lente’s tears failed to save and having the terrible feeling it’s because he went where he wasn’t supposed to. but he’s also had this brief half-awake dream recently where someone held his hand until he drifted off back to sleep so it’s not all bad
Leo grumbled something under his breath and pulled his covers up closer around himself and he wriggled his toes restlessly. "If that were true, Nazu, then... Why doesn't it feel like it? You know? You know?? Sometimes it's like everyone's nagging at me! Sena... Especially Sena, but, like... Mom and d-dad and I don't know, Rittsu and Naru and... Wow, yeah, Suou~! Definitely Suou!! Little John doesn't nag but she's a cat and it would be weird if she did, right? But I just don't..."
His shoulder slumped and he glanced over at Nazuna. "...If I'm really doing my best, I wouldn't have been tricked by GFK, right? I should know better. I'm not naive. Not that much! I just... Want to believe in the good in people."
❛ you’re not as bad as everyone says you are. ❜ ( Niki for Rinne )
"Could have fooled me." Rinne sighed. It wasn't like people's general attitude toward him usually got to him. He had survived people throwing plastic bottles and trash at him during lives after all, but sometimes... Just... Sometimes it did sting. He leaned against the railing of their shared apartment, staring out across the neighborhood, an unlit cigarette dangling between his fingers.
*Announcer voice* Last time, on Playing the Game... Sage and Ann found themselves face-to-face with a person that they had, up until that moment, only thought of as a fictional character. “Are you sure your card isn’t working?” Bulma asked for the third time in the past five minutes.
Sage resisted the urge to roll her eyes. “I’m very sure,” she replied, through gritted teeth.
“And you’re certain you let them know you were traveling abroad?”
“Yes.”
“Hmm…” Bulma tapped at her own chin with one manicured fingernail. “Well, I suppose we could give your banks a call and see what’s going on, but that won’t be until tonight, since they’ll all be closed right now,” she mused. “Time zones. Ugh.”
Sage turned to give her friend a nervous, slightly pained look. Ann returned it.
They had discovered that U.S. cash was actually exchangeable here, though the bank clerk had called it something else that neither had heard before. However, nobody accepted their credit cards, which meant that in terms of Zeni, they had the equivalent of two hundred U.S. dollars between them.
Slim pickings for two girls in a world that they weren’t supposed to exist in.
“How long were you girls going to be here?” Bulma asked, turning to glance at them. “Do you already have a hotel arranged?”
Ann parted her lips to answer, but Sage cut in before she could. “No, we were going to backpack a bit, and our flight was going to arrive pretty early.” She offered a sheepish smile. “So we thought we would go look at youth hostels when we arrived.”
Bulma eyed their luggage, raising an eyebrow. “Backpacking.”
“Heh. Well, of a sort. We were going to be here for a while.” Sage nudged Ann’s side. “Ann’s never been here before, and I wanted to show her as much of it as I could.”
Ann, belatedly taking her cue from her friend, nodded in agreement when Bulma’s skeptical gaze flicked her way.
“That’s rather risky, isn’t it?” Bulma crossed her arms over her chest. “Alone in a strange place… and now everything bad that could possibly happen, well, is happening to you.”
“Yeah, we know.” Sage dropped her gaze. “It really sucks.”
“On top of that, I don’t know if there are any youth hostels in West City at all… I could point you to a hotel or two, but until you get your cards sorted out… well...”
Sage and her friend stayed silent as Bulma mulled things over. A rising excitement swelled in Sage’s chest as she realized the possibilities, and her lips quirked as she suppressed the sudden urge to grin. Oh, if what was about to happen that she thought was going to happen, then--
“I suppose there’s nothing for it.” Bulma rested her hands on her hips. “I can’t just leave you two out here on your lonesome. How about you stay with me until you get your credit cards sorted out?”
Ann’s eyes widened. “I, you, what?” she stammered, and Sage couldn’t help but wonder if Ann hadn’t seen this coming.
Bulma smirked, tilting her head to one side. “Aw c’mon, I have a soft spot for adventurers. Was one myself when I was a couple years younger.”
Sage glanced over at Ann, who was struggling to come up with words, and gave her friend a second, gentle nudge. Ann jumped a little at the contact, shooting her friend a brief frown before returning her attention to Bulma.
“Yes! Yes, absolutely,” Ann stammered. “That would be wonderful, Mrs. Briefs, thank you so mu-”
“Call me Bulma, please.” Bulma laughed. “I’m not a Mrs. Anything, not by a long stretch…” Her smile grew. “Although maybe it’ll happen soon, who knows?”
Sage smiled. “Oh really? Who’s the lucky guy?”
“Oh, well maybe you’ll meet him since we’re going to my place.” Bulma gestured for them to follow her. “Come on, I’ll give you a lift.”
“Thank you so much!”
The three abandoned their earlier quest at the bank and piled into Bulma’s hovercar. Sage ran her hands wonderingly over the leather interior. It smelled brand new, though that didn’t surprise her. This was Bulma they were talking about. Naturally she’d have a top of the line car.
That could also fly.
Sage sucked in a breath as they rose into the air. Bulma caught it, and glanced over, quirking a small grin.
“What’s up? You guys act like you’ve never been in a hovercar before. Don’t they have them where you come from?”
“Uh? Well, uh… not really?”
Bulma tilted her head. “That’s funny. You must be from pretty small towns if you don’t have any hovercars. Dad sold a huge shipment abroad about ten years back.”
“Oh?” Sage gave a nervous laugh. “A small town, right, well, I’m from Virginia, if that helps.”
Bulma waved her hand. “Sorry, I can pick out most places on a map, but I don’t know about the villages or anything.”
“Um… it’s actually a state.”
“Like I said, it’s not like I’d recognize everything,” Bulma replied cheerfully.
Sage shot Ann a glance, only to see her friend was trying to hide a smile. With a sigh, Sage decided to give up the conversation for a lost cause.
The car started, and Sage instinctively reached for something to hold onto as it lurched forward, feeling very much like a rollercoaster about to drop forward.
Please tell me it’s not going to be like this the entire way!
Fortunately, after a few sudden jerks and dips, the car smoothed out, and they were racing out over the road (yet not touching it), sending dust up in all directions as they zipped past.
“Sorry about that,” Bulma said with a careless laugh. “This one’s kinda new, and I’m still figuring out how it handles.”
“Uh huh,” Sage managed weakly, glancing over to see how her friend was taking it. To her dismay, Ann seemed to be enjoying things, peering out and about themselves with open curiosity.
It didn’t take long for them to reach yet another place that seemed far too familiar for them; a collection of gigantic buildings, all of them branded with the logo CC. Sage and Ann’s eyes met, and both sets of said eyes widened as they realized that no, there was no way at this point that this could be a joke.
This is actually happening.
“Here we are!” Bulma lifted one hand from the wheel to wave it at their surroundings. “It’s not much, but make yourselves at home.”
Not much? She had to be kidding.
The walls of the massive buildings shone in the sunlight. Someone--or likely several someones--took great pains to keep everything clean. The lawns were well-cared for, grass trimmed so low that Sage wouldn’t have been surprised if someone had knelt and painstakingly clipped each individual bit with scissors. It looked like the sort of place that would be beyond easy to get lost in, and she hoped that if they were going to stay here for long that they would be provided with maps and possibly compasses.
“Excuse us for intruding,” Sage said as they passed the heavy security gates.
Bulma, who had been waving at a security guard as they drove in, glanced over at her with surprise. “Oh so you do speak Japanese! I thought you didn’t speak any at all.”
“I do, but my friend doesn’t… and I only have the bare minimum.”
“Well, it’s better than nothing! At any rate, no need to be so formal.” Bulma waved her arm. “Let’s go in! I’ll introduce you to the folks, and maybe...”
Bulma brightened as they pulled into a large parking lot and, among the insane number of uniform cars lined up neatly in rows, was a battered-looking hover car resting in a parking space. “Yamcha! He’s here too!”
She stopped the car, and as the girls climbed out and got their luggage, pressed a button on the dashboard. A moment later, the car disappeared in a puff of smoke, and Bulma was left holding something tiny in her hand.
The blue-haired woman blinked, then laughed at the looks on both Sage and Ann’s faces. “Oh come on, you didn’t think the head of Capsule Corporation would have anything less, right? Though since you haven’t seen hover cars before I guess it’s no surprise you’d be shocked at seeing this.” Pocketing it, she began to walk. “Well, come on; it’s a bit of a hike to the inner residences.”
“Residences, as in plural?” Sage asked curiously. “How many people live on-campus?”
“Well, of course the family does. We have a guest house or three, depending on the type of guest and how many people come, but there’s a hotel we’re affiliated with in town in case some business partners come in with a lot of friends. We also have dormitories for our workers.”
“Does everyone live on campus if they work for CC?”
“Oh no, don’t be silly. We have far too many people working for us. But quite a few people do.” Bulma gestured in the direction they were meant to go, and the girls dragged their luggage along as they headed off down one of the many paths. “Don’t worry, you girls can stay in a room in the guest house right by my place.”
“Thank you so much,” Ann said gratefully.
“Not at all. For now, come on in.” Bulma turned her head to one side. “Hey, Asuka?”
A young woman in a white uniform with startlingly purple hair appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. “Yes, Bulma?”
“Do me a favor and take the girls’ luggage to the main guest house. Any room is fine. We’re going in for some tea.”
“Of course.” The tiny, violet-haired woman smiled nervously at the two girls. “Hello!” She then took all of their luggage and began to lug them off.
Meanwhile, Bulma led the way along, and soon Asuka was off in the distance as Sage and Ann followed their blue-haired savior into a house that wasn’t nearly as massive as they’d expected it to be. Granted, it was still clearly meant for a large family, with several rooms and large bright windows that let in a lot of light, but it wasn’t a mansion like Sage had thought it would be.
They headed in and to a large living room, where each piece of furniture looked like it was worth more than anything that Sage and Ann’s families combined could afford together. They settled in on a large sofa that tried to swallow them whole when they sat on it, and waited as Bulma ducked into the kitchen to get some tea for them.
“What are we going to do?” Sage finally hissed, relieved that they’d finally gotten a chance to speak in private.
Ann glanced at her friend, then around herself. “I’m pretty sure we’re not dreaming. This is definitely Capsule Corp.”
“I know, but what should we do? Ann, if this is for real… well there’s no way we could be on Earth. Our Earth, I mean.”
“Yeah, but…” Ann shrugged. “They use English and Japanese. And, I mean, they accepted our money.”
Sage shook her head. “But our cards are useless. Our phones, too. And it won’t be long before we’re discovered to be sitting here with absolutely no official documentation. We’ll be deported for sure the minute anyone official looks at us.”
Ann made a dismissive noise. “I don’t think that’ll happen.”
“Yeah, well I do… which means we have to find a damn good story for ourselves, and quick.”
“You mean an explanation?” Ann tilted her head. “Why not the truth?”
Sage stared, her mouth working but no sound coming out.
“Why not?” Ann asked, after a moment of silence.
“How are we sure they’ll believe us?”
“What’s the worst that could happen?”
Sage scoffed. “Well, Bulma could get any one of her friends to show up and beat us into a pulp before we could so much as ask for an autograph.”
“Aww, c’mon.” Ann chuckled. “If she called up Goku, I bet we’d be fine. He’s super trusting, so he’d at least listen to us.”
Sage considered that, and slowly nodded. “Yeah, you’re right, but…”
“It can’t hurt us. In fact, it might even help us. We’d just have to be careful about timing,” Ann mused. “For example, right now Bulma is still dating Yamcha, if her reaction to seeing his car was any judge… which means Vegeta isn’t really a thing. So this is either during or before the Frieza saga.”
Sage nodded. “But that still leaves a ton of ground for us to work out.”
“Well, we can ask a few questions and see? That’s why we’d need to tell the truth.”
Sage winced. “I know, but…”
“Sage, really. It’ll be fine.” Ann reached over to squeeze Sage’s arm reassuringly. “We just have to make sure we don’t spoil anything major, and don’t mess with too many things. Easy, right? So don’t you worry!”
“Worry about what?”
Both girls instinctively straightened up in their seats, as though caught sharing dirty gossip. “N-nothing!” both stammered.
Bulma raised an eyebrow at the two of them, carrying a tray with multiple cups and one large pot of steaming tea. “If you say so…”
A pair of large, well-muscled arms slid around Bulma’s waist, and a scarred face with large expressive eyes that were partially hidden by a mop of the messiest black hair Sage had seen rested on the blue-haired woman’s shoulder. “Oh hey, these are the foreigners?” he questioned.
Sage smiled shyly, and offered a wave, while Ann just grinned. “Er, hullo,” Ann said.
“Hallo,” Yamcha said, with a laugh. “That’s all I know.”
Bulma smirked at that, and murmured something to him before gently nudging him off of herself. Then she moved forward to set the tray on a nearby coffee table. “Don’t mind Yamcha. He knows more English than he lets on, just like everyone else in West City.”
Sage glanced over at Ann, who looked like she was trying to work something out in her head, and inwardly winced. She could read her best friend and knew that Ann was trying to figure out the best way to introduce their situation to these two, and she only hoped that if she did, these two would buy it.
“It’s nice to meet you,” Sage said to Yamcha, bobbing her head. He flashed a grin and a nod that indicated he understood that at least, before he turned to Bulma.
“...training…later, okay?” was all she could catch.
Bulma waved a hand in dismissal. “Yeah, yeah.”
With that, Yamcha turned on his heel and headed out the door.
“What about Goku?” Ann suddenly asked, all innocence. “Can he speak English? Or Tien?”
Sage flinched.
Bulma considered that for a moment as she began to pour a cup of tea. “Well, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chi-chi spoke some English. She’s all about studying hard to get ahead in life. On the other hand, Tien is more into training and-“
She paused, the teacup starting to overflow as something connected in her brain. Catching herself, Bulma set the teapot down. Then, she whipped her head around to narrow her eyes at the two girls, suddenly all suspicion and confusion.
“I never… how in the hell do you know about Goku and Tien?”
Ann glanced at Sage, who raised her eyebrows in a “Welp, here we go” manner. Ann gestured at Sage, but the blonde shook her head and gestured back.
Shaking her head Sage said, “Oh no, you started this, you might as well continue.”
Serious answer: Bazz loves spending time with kids, and is very protective of them and their curiosity. He encourages them to explore the Domain (especially once Link defeats Ganon), to play, and ask questions.
His personal weaknesses are the limitations he sets on himself. He feels as a Captain of the guard he should not, cannot leave the Domain to do what he wills. Sidon would let him go travel in a heartbeat if he asked, and some part of Bazz knows this. But while he yearns to see the world at least once, he won’t ask for it.
He takes great pride in his fighting skills, but doesn’t think he can or should take part in other hobbies. When Kenton shows off a new instrument, Bazz is reluctant to try because “You KNOW it will sound bad when I do it, Ken, why ask me?” Kenton tries to get him to see it’s not about skill, it’s about the fun of it.
In addition, he’s extremely close to his father, and they share everything. This becomes an issue on occasion, however, because Seggin is so used to Bazz sharing that he gets worried/upset if Bazz is reticent about certain matters. Bazz knows Seggin is getting up there, and feels he needs to quietly protect his father not only from enemies but from himself as the years pass on.
A dragonite ascended from the skies, landing in front of Zinnia. He seemed familiar, and at a closer look you recognize the dragon to be Nate’s. In his claws is a red satchel, adorned with white fur at the top, which he placed into Zinnia’s hands.
Upon opening the satchel, Zinnia finds a series of wrapped packages inside, as well as a card attached to a Dragon Fang, reading:
To: My Dragon Girl Zin
I hope ya like these presents! I was definitely thinking of you when looking out for them, especially this one that I think you’ll really like.
-Ya Boy Nate ;)
P.S. I stole this fang from Lance, so don’t tell him.
The first package in the bag turned out to be a rather interesting package, a pair of handcuffs. However, they seemed to be a bit different. They were made of black leather with a red leather ring, lined with red fur on the inside. Attached was a rather scandalous picture of Nate, only for her eyes to see.
The second package was a carefully wrapped box, full of bubble wrap as to not damage the contents inside. Upon opening it (and possibly popping all the bubble wrap), Zinnia can find a dozen Roseli Berries, the berry that can be eaten in battle to help Dragon types resist Fairy Type attacks.
Finally, underneath the other two packages was a final, small, square box. Inside is a red pokeball, which when lifted out has a black band around it; it’s a Cherish Ball! Attached to the rare pokeball is a note:
I hope you like her! She took forever for me to find. I hear when she evolves to her final form, she’ll match your outfit!
Throwing the pokeball winds up releasing a small, tan dragon type, with a distinct magenta “collar” feature around her neck. It’s a shiny Axew!
