Thank you for your kindness, and your constant willingness to listen to me ramble or give me feedback on whatever things I’ve happened to write or make. I haven’t written anything really worth much since 2012, but when you started leaving feedback on fanfics I made myself write as little surprises for friends, you spurred me into writing again. And that’s something really special. And on top of that, you’re always willing to listen to me vent and lend a comforting word or two. Sort of random and I’m not sure what I’m thanking you for here, but I am thanking you for something, I just can’t find words - but I have drawings you’ve made tacked on my wall, and the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning is lil Richard looking all happy and excited; it’s the drawing you made when I posted about needing a hug, and giving Richard part of my sugar cookie. And it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy because, as you know, Richard means a lot to me for personal reasons, and seeing a drawing of him like that kinda makes me sort of feel like he’s excited because I’m awake. Which is silly but means a lot. And basically, thank you for all of your words, and patience, and warmth, and your magic. I’m so glad that I was talked into watching that charming little Disney film because without it, I don’t think I’d have met you or anyone else I’ve befriended in the last few months. So thanks. <3

If I was forced to narrow down a description of you to three words, they’d probably be friendly, warmhearted, and funny. Ever since I followed you on Tumblr, I don’t think you’ve been anything but those three things. Even when we hardly knew each other, when I’d post random rants under the cut, you’d make sure and respond and see how I was doing and generally just lend encouragement. That made an impact, even if it didn’t seem like it did. One of my fondest memories though is the few nights (which were lonely ones for me during that point in time, actually) we spent hours awake sending each other dozens of random asks for those ask games. Those really made me smile and - since I hadn’t known you for too long - was a fun way to get to know you a little better. Thank you for being so kind and inviting and for listening to me vent about things, even if you’re feeling a little under the weather yourself. And basically just thank you for being a friend; it means a lot. <3 (Also, on a completely unrelated note, thank you for that John Cena/Psych video because it is life.)

Okay, time to fess up - you honestly intimidated me quite a bit too when I first met you. I think I followed you because I saw a discussion you were having with Grig, and… I dunno, your personality at first glance intimidated me. I’m easy to intimidate, haha. But yeah, no - you’re so sweet and friendly, and you work so hard to keep the Shassie Watch programme going. We haven’t talked much, but you’re always willing to lend some advice or a friendly word when I message you. (Also, I still think Rorion is quite the clever nickname.) I still think about the little story you wrote that one time after we were chattering about Chuck in the chatroom of the Shassie Watch livestream; the Psych/Chuck crossover one. I’ve reread it quite a few times; it’s great. You’re a very talented writer with a lot of heart, and I’m so glad we’ve gotten to know each other.

Muiro, thank you too for your kindness, truly. Your ability to make others feel better and interact with them in a lighthearted manner even when you’re not doing very well yourself is astounding, and means a lot. You’ve a quiet strength about you that’s admirable, even if you don’t quite see it yourself. Also, thank you for listening to me no matter what it is I have to say. I’ve honestly lost track of how many times I just crashed into your inbox or messenger to talk about random life stuff or chatter about ships or headcanons or AUs, and you always responded and gave time to talking with me about them. (Even if the headcanons and AUs are terribly angsty. Which you provide marvelous fix-its for!) I also feel you should know that your art and your writing is beautiful, because it is and I adore it all. You’re a downright lovely person who gives me far more credit and compliments than I feel I deserve, though that doesn’t stop me from smiling every time I receive them. Thank you for your caring heart, your patience, your lighthearted spirit, and of course for consistently making sure I was alright this month (and for trying to convince me to get some rest so I didn’t take ill, even if I didn’t listen because I’m a stubborn child sometimes). <3

Thank you for your bravery, for one thing. It’s inspiring, it truly is. I wouldn’t say that if I didn’t one hundred percent mean it. And of course thank you for your kindness. It was and is because of you that I’ve stopped worrying quite as much about whether I was born a mistake or not, and I can’t really put into words how much that means, considering how long I spent thinking I was. And that’s just… yeah, like I said, I don’t really have words, but it means so much. Your existence is bright and just the fact you exist has brought a smile to my face many times. You’ve listened through my random rants more than once, and a few times you’ve had to correct me on a few political-related things and were extremely kind about it; which again, means a lot. (Also, you gave me the nickname Roranicus Cain Orion, which is to date still one of my favourite nicknames.) I know it’s not easy to believe, but you’re a special person who has brought cheer to a lot of people. And you’re a wonderful friend whom I’m very proud to know. Thanks for everything you do.

Riley, thanks for all the tips and advice you give me, for one. I’m still figuring out the whole ‘being trans’ thing, and the things you’ve told me have been invaluable - name choosing, binders, etc. It’s just been really helpful and it’s kind of strange to open up this message with that, I guess, but it meant a lot and I wanted to say it, haha. Thanks for listening to my really random bursts of just falling into your messenger on Tumblr or Facebook, or your askbox, and just chattering away about random things like Supernatural and angels and random memes. You’re so patient and kind and understanding, and it means the world. (Also, your writing  and cosplays are amazing, I felt you should know that.) You actually intimidated me for a while after I first followed you. I’m not sure why, honestly. You just did, haha. I’m glad I didn’t let that deter me from interacting with you though, because you’re a wonderful friend and I’m glad I know you.

Great news – it’s on YouTube (several uploads) and excellent quality. That’s actually my source for the gifsets. The copy I used is 1080px HD – unusually, I had to shrink it for Tumblr...

Aww, thank you! xx I’m so glad I’m not alone in loving this. ;) I’m not usually a horror/comedy-horror person AT ALL  But the unexpectedness of James + Tales from the Crypt really tickled me – AND he’s so good in it – and so is his face. And *redacts boxer-shorts observations*. And his voice. Who ever knew that James does a great flat London accent? (Why did no one think of remaking Nic Roeg’s Performance starring James as Chas with 1990!Rupert as Turner? *cries*)

More amazing posts and JSAMN fun while I was enjoying a night out seeing Spectre on the big screen and successfully dodging most of Halloween! Inevitable, but today I have to write. Hard, and not briefly. So there will be some very belated catch-up. For now, here’s a portmanteau ‘thank-you‘ post (and a whole stack of ‘likes’ I expect to be woefully late to reblog)!

PS: I hereby declare Spectre’s Mexico City opening sequence the (unexpectedly) BEST Hallloween viewing.
