2013, you taught me a lot. You taught me that nothing is really permanent and that seemingly good things come to an end eventually. You taught me that I am stronger than I previously thought. You taught me to accept criticism, to accept 'trying' and not always succeeding. You taught me that sometimes, just sometimes, people are there for you in your darkest moments. But you also showed me that sometimes they aren't. You brought happiness with sadness, and I thank you.
2014, you've been here one day so far. You have some crazy shoes to live up to, but you've been doing pretty good so far. I look forward to see what the next 364 days have to bring. But please, be nice to me.
